      Feluccas are simple, traditional Egyptian sailboats. They carry between 8-12 people comfortably. The boat's deck is draped with soft colourful cushions that serve as your lounging and meal area during the day and as your sleeping area at night. You need to bring a towel and can opt to bring a sleeping bag/sleeping sheet. You can hire a freshly laundered winter warmth blanket for USD$15 for the 2-night stay.

    Do I have to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19, to join your group tours? Or any other requirements, regarding COVID-19?

      At this time, we do still require all persons over 18 years to provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination if travelling to a limited number of destinations, including Egypt. As our highest priority is the health and safety of our travellers, crew and local communities, passengers are required to be fully vaccinated when travelling with us to countries that are still in the early stages of vaccinating and managing COVID outbreaks. This practice also ensures that we are not adding avoidable strain to any country's healthcare system, where resources remain under pressure. If you are unwilling or unable to be vaccinated for medical reasons, you may apply for an exemption, which will be assessed on an individual basis. To apply, we ask you to provide supporting documentation from a medical professional to our Customer Care for review.

  • Payment information
    • For any tour departing before April 25th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after April 25th, 2026, a minimum payment of $400 is required to confirm your booking with On The Go Tours. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 70 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
    • Some departure dates and prices may vary and On The Go Tours will contact you with any discrepancies before your booking is confirmed.
