Itinerary
- Day 1
Lahad Datu to Danum Valley
You'll meet at Lahad Datu Airport and drive to Menara Kayangan on Mount Silam to take in the views across Darvel Bay. From there, head to Tumunong Hallu Jetty for a boat ride out to Blue Rings Reef, where you can snorkel around the coral gardens. After lunch by the water and some beach time, travel inland to Danum Valley Conservation Area and get settled in for your first night in the rainforest. In the evening, you have the choice of either a guided night walk or night drive to see what comes alive after dark.

- Day 2
Danum Valley
Start this morning listening to Bornean Gibbons as you head out on a jungle trek to Coffin Cliffs, the burial site of the Kadazan-Dusun people, then move on to the View Point for more panoramic views. Later, cool off in the natural Jacuzzi Pool at a rainforest stream. The afternoon gives you options: walk the canopy walkway high above the forest floor, tube down the Danum River, or participate in cultural activities indoors. After dinner, join another night walk or night drive to hunt for nocturnal animals.

Danum Valley to Lahad Datu
If you're interested, take an optional early morning rainforest walk before heading back to the lodge for lunch. Then check out and transfer to Lahad Datu Airport for your onward travel.
