The first part of the tour with Leo as our tour guide was superb. Second part in Galapagos Genesis needs to understand how seniors cope in really hot weather and long 2-3 k walks. I could not complete the walk to Tortuga bay, she never mentioned that we could have got a water taxi back, and if she had suggested a taxi to the walk to the beach, that would have been better too. Also, Leo set up a WhatsApp group, Genesis didn’t so I font have the link for Intredid to give feedback Genesis is passionate about the islands, but bring so young, doesn’t understand older people’s needsShow more

Overall, a well-organized trip with memorable experiences. Paraty and Ilha Grande are definitely worth visiting, and the flights and transfers between locations worked smoothly. The ranch stay and the food there were excellent, and the itinerary covered key highlights like Iguazu Falls (both sides). The balance between guided activities and free time was perfect, and our guide Felipe was outstanding - knowledgeable, friendly, and always relaxed even in stressful moments. A few aspects could have been handled more effectively. For example, in Montevideo, the “tour guide” was actually a local freelancer rather than an Intrepid guide. One full day at the ranch felt a bit long; it could have been better replaced with a day in São Paulo or an extra day in Paraty. Overall, the trip offered fantastic experiences, well-chosen highlights, and excellent guidance, making it a highly enjoyable adventure despite minor cost-saving choices.Show more
