      During the trip, all transportation is included — this covers travel by boat, public bus, cable car, ferry, metro, high-speed train, and train. You won't be on your own; the guide will accompany the group throughout the journey to make everything smooth and stress-free.

      All accommodations and transport within the tour will be included. We do not include international airfare, or insurance, there are also some meals and activities that are not includes. Boat, Public Bus, Cable Car, Ferry, Metro, High Speed Train, Train are included. Accommodation includes Hotel (8 nights), Japanese Inn (4 nights).

      The accommodations used in our Land of the Raising Sun tour are a mix of Hotels (8 nights) and Japanese Inn (4 nights - ryokans or minshukus). If you would prefer not to stay in the Japanese Inn let me know and I can suggest another itinerary that does not include this.

    • For any tour departing before May 2nd, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after May 2nd, 2026, a minimum payment of $400 is required to confirm your booking with Intrepid Travel. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 60 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
