- Day 1
Fes
You'll arrive in Fes and spend the afternoon navigating the medieval medina with a guide. The winding alleyways of Fes el Bali take you through the Chouara Tannery, then you'll see Al-Qarawiyyin University and its mosque. Stop at the ornate Al Attarine Madrasa before heading to Fes el Jdid to check out the Jewish quarter. By evening, you'll head to the Merenid Tombs to catch the sunset over the city.

- Day 2
Fes to Merzouga
This morning you'll head south toward Merzouga, climbing through cedar forests in the Middle Atlas where you might spot Barbary macaque monkeys. After lunch in Midelt, the route continues through the Ziz Valley with its oases and fortified ksars. By afternoon you'll reach Erg Chebbi's massive sand dunes, then switch to a camel for a desert ride. Watch the sunset from the dunes, and later settle in at your prepared camp where you can relax by the campfire.

- Day 3
Khemliya - Rissani - Tinerhir - Todra Gorge
Early morning brings a desert sunrise and the chance to try sand boarding in Erg Chebbi. Next you'll visit Khemliya village to experience traditional drumming and dancing. From there, check out the market town of Rissani with its livestock auctions happening throughout the day. Later in Tinerhir you'll see the river oasis and palm tree clusters stretching across the landscape. The afternoon takes you to Todra Gorge where you can walk around and cool off in the river waters.

- Day 4
Todra Gorge to Aït Benhaddou
You'll travel through the Valley of a Thousand Kasbahs, passing through the Dades Valley and Boumalne Dades. In Kela'a M'gouna you'll see rose bushes and visit a rose collective to learn how they make rose water and oils. Continue to Ouarzazate for a movie studio tour and the Musée du Cinema, then head to Aïft Benhaddou, an 11th-century UNESCO site. You'll wander the quiet alleyways, climb to the old Granary for views across the valley, and have dinner overlooking the landscape.

- Day 5
Aït Benhaddou to Marrakech
After leaving Aïft Benhaddou, you'll ascend the High Atlas mountains with views of Mount Toubkal, the highest peak in the range. A stop offers panoramic mountain views, and you'll visit an Argan Oil Cooperative in Taddert to see how they process argan nuts and fruit. As you descend toward Marrakech, the landscape shifts dramatically with the changing climate. After settling into your hotel, the afternoon is yours to relax. Later explore Jemaa el-Fna with its musicians, performers, and food stalls, or sit at a café with mint tea.

- Day 6
Marrakech
You'll meet your guide and start touring Marrakech's medina, walking through souks filled with spices, jewelry, kaftans, lanterns, carpets, and dates. Visit the ornate 16th-century Ben Youssef Madrasa with its carved cedar and zellij tilework. From there you'll see the Marrakech Museum in a 19th-century Moorish palace, explore the Kasbah area and 500-year-old Saadian Tombs, then check out Bahia Palace and El Badi Palace. If time allows, you can finish at the Majorelle Gardens for a break.
