Itinerary
- Day 1
Osaka
You'll arrive in Osaka and get settled into your accommodation. The rest of your day is completely yours to figure out. Kita and Minami are great neighborhoods to walk around in, or if you want something more specific, Osaka Castle is worth seeing. There's also an aquarium if you're into that, and Dotonbori is the place to go if you want to grab food and check out the nightlife scene.

- Day 2
Osaka
An English-speaking guide will take you through five key Osaka sights on a walking tour. You'll start at Osaka Castle for the city views, then head to Dotonbori with its bright lights and that famous Glico signboard. After that, the historic Kuromon Market is next, where there's plenty of street food to try. Later in the day you'll see Tsutenkaku tower and the Shinsekai area, and finish up at Shitennoji Temple. They'll work in a ramen lunch somewhere along the route.

- Day 3
Osaka to Kyoto
You'll check out of your Osaka hotel and catch a train to Kyoto, which takes about 30 to 45 minutes. Once you're settled into your Kyoto accommodation, the day is yours. Gion is a historic neighborhood worth walking through, or you can seek out temples like Kiyomizu-dera and Fushimi Inari. Kyoto has charming streets everywhere, so just exploring on foot works too.

- Day 4
Kyoto
A bus tour will take you to Kyoto's most well-known sites starting with Tenryu-ji Temple. You'll have about 2 hours to walk around Arashiyama's Bamboo Forest area on your own. From there, the tour continues to Kinkaku-ji Temple with its gold exterior, and then to Fushimi Inari Shrine where you can see the rows of red torii gates. Multi-language audio guides are available throughout. You'll handle lunch on your own while in Arashiyama.

Kyoto to Hiroshima
After checking out in Kyoto, you'll head to Kyoto Station to board the Shinkansen bullet train headed for Hiroshima. The ride offers nice views of the Japanese countryside and takes a few hours. Once you arrive in Hiroshima and check into your hotel, an English-speaking guide will meet you for an electric bicycle tour. You'll ride along the riverside and through local areas, seeing the city's peace heritage sites and learning about the reconstruction story.

- Day 6
Hiroshima to Osaka
You'll check out of your Hiroshima hotel and go to Hiroshima Station to catch the Shinkansen bullet train back to Osaka. The train ride is scenic and comfortable, passing through countryside views. When you get to Osaka, that's where your tour ends. You'll have the rest of the day free to explore the city however you like.
