Asked on November 30th, 2025I am 49 next year when the trip starts in September. I already joined the Japan trip with Lissy this October and I love (d) this type of travelling. The trip shows 18-39, so I am not sure?
INTRO TravelOperator•Written November 2025We have recently updated our age policy and our maximum age limit is now 49. As you will be 49 at time of travel, we can absolutely still accept your booking. The majority of the group may also be in their 20s and 30s. But, as long as you have an appetite for adventure and are happy bonding with people of all backgrounds, you'll fit in perfectly!

We do have a maximum age limit of 55 for these tours, as most of our travellers tend to be in their 20s and 30s. Because of this, we don't think this particular trip would be the best fit for you. You may find that Intrepid Travel or G Adventures have some suitable tours for you.

Uluwatu Temple is not part of the Epic Indonesia trip. You will visit rice terraces while in Bali. Bali Swing from Ubud can be visited during free time. Taman Beji Griya Waterfall is recommended instead of Pura Tirta Empul for a more personal water/purification ceremony experience.

Our incredible 19 day Epic Indonesia trip finishes in Labuan Bajo, and to get back to Bali for your flight home, you will need to book a flight from here back to Denpasar airport. We recommend booking this flight in advance to ensure the best price, and your Group Leader will help you get back to the airport.

While you are staying on Gili T the group will do a snorkelling trip that will visit the statue by Gili Meno. If for any reason the boat is not able to visit the statues on that day then you will also have plenty of free time where you will be able to visit, but this usually is not an issue!
