- Day 2
Lima
Bike and walk through Miraflores and Barranco to see how different these neighborhoods are from each other. One has the fashionable shops and commercial vibe, while the other has galleries, cafés, and older buildings with character. You'll grab lunch at a local spot, then have the afternoon free. Later, head to the rooftop for sunset drinks with your group.

Lima to Cusco
Fly to Cusco in the Andes and take a CEO-led walk through the historical centre. You'll see Spanish colonial buildings mixed in with ancient Inca stonework, and this is when you'll start getting used to the altitude. Lunch and dinner happen at local restaurants with your group.

Landmarks Cusco Historical Centre - Day 4
Sacred Valley
Travel into the Sacred Valley and visit Cuyo Chico to learn about traditional ceramic and adobe work. After a snack, take a guided tour of Pisaq, the massive archaeological site sitting high above the town. Lunch is at a community restaurant with locally grown food, then return to your hotel for pachamanca, a traditional meal cooked in the ground.

Sacred Valley

Inca Trail

Inca Trail

Landmarks Dead Woman's Pass (Warmiwalusca) - Day 8
Inca Trail
Cool mountain air and warm washing water with tea greet you when you open your tent. Breakfast aromas fill the camp as cooks and porters start their work. The day involves climbing the challenging Warmiwalusca pass, passing several Inca sites and another mountain pass before reaching camp.

Landmarks Dead Woman's Pass (Warmiwalusca) - Day 9
Inca Trail to Aguas Calientes
You'll wake next to the Inca ruins called the 'town above the clouds' and have quiet morning hours to enjoy them. Shed extra layers and descend through cloud forest to the Sun Gate for your first look at Machu Picchu. Walk through the site, then take a local bus down to Aguas Calientes for your final night in a hotel.

- Day 10
Machu Picchu
Leave early by private vehicle and local bus heading to Machu Picchu for a guided tour through the ancient Inca ruins. You'll walk through the temples and terraces, taking in the layout and history of the site. Lunch happens at Machu Picchu Sanctuary Lodge, so you can rest and refuel before heading back. The return journey uses train and bus to get you back to Cusco, and later in the evening there's a farewell dinner to wrap up the trip.

This is a full free day to explore Cusco at your own pace. Walk the cobblestone streets and check out the mix of Spanish colonial and Inca stonework, or pick from optional activities in and around the city. An included dinner with your group happens in the evening.

Amazon Jungle
Tropical birds and animals wake you in the canopy above. Head out early while it's cool to catch the jungle at its wildest, walking slowly to search for wildlife. Later, board a canoe to explore an oxbow lake where anacondas, giant river otters, or black caimans might appear. Even if those stay hidden, plenty of other birds, plants and animals are around.

Puerto Maldonado to Lima
Return to Puerto Maldonado and fly back to Lima, stopping at the bohemian neighbourhood of Monumental Callao on the way from the airport to Miraflores. Celebrate Peru's diversity at a final farewell dinner with your travel companions next to the Huaca Pucllana ruins in the heart of the city.
