Egypt is so wonderful! The tour was smooth from start to finish. We booked the 10 day, small group tour and ended up getting an entirely private trip, just the 2 of us. We were greeted at airport arrivals, and assisted to purchase our Visas. Easy process. The guides and drivers were all different in every spot/ tour or site, and thoughtfully chosen for each part of our trip (typically Egyptologists that were all very informative). An explanation was always conducted as we walked around, then some free time to wander and take photos. We were notified of the pick up times usually the night prior. The hotels were all fantastic…all chosen by the tour company, and gave us an opportunity to relax between all the hustle of visiting the archeological sites. You still have time to explore the cities in the evening if you choose to. We always felt safe in Egypt. The Nile cruise was better than we expected given the service and food were phenomenal. They treated us so well on the ship so please make sure to tip them well. The Red Sea is simply a slice of heaven! We stayed at the most beautiful resort for 3 nights where the staff, amenities, and our room left nothing else to be desired. We bought SIM cards and stayed in communication with the tour company via What’s App the whole time. This wasn’t your traditional group tour because we had different guides and drivers daily. They always showed up on time and contacted us upon arrival. Every detail was planned with care. We never felt lost or stranded. The food was so great everywhere we went. I would highly recommend this tour to anybody looking to visit the best of Egypt. The tour company was flexible with our requests and was good to accommodate us, personally. Thank you TravChance! TRAVEL TIPS: a travel visa is $25 usd and best purchased upon arrival. Bring your local currency. US/ Euros accepted everywhere. Exchange rates are basically at par. Locals prefer receiving Egyptian Pounds so exchange and make lots of change. Most places take credit card. Bring a head scarf, the sun is so hot, Your first day touring Cairo is full and hectic. We opted out of the dinner cruise. You can see all these shows on your Nile cruise, and Red Sea resort. Uber and Careem work best on your free time. Is it possible to add a sound and light show at Karnak or Cairo? Is it possible to have the names of hotels in Cairo and Hurghada? Because it may not be necessary to take 5-star if they are already very good. What is the maximum group size?

  Of course, we can add Sound & Light Show, it is an amazing show. 5* hotel in Hurghada is already included in the itinerary without any extra charge. In Cairo, it is Saraya Pyramids & Museum hotel or king pyramids, locanda Museum View or similar according to availability on the time of booking. Maximum 8, however if you like to be in a private tour, it is ok we can make it a private tour with the same price.

Is it possible to book an additional night at the hotel in Hurghada until January 8, 2026? Is it sufficient to add the extra 'Post tour accommodation in hurghada - Double room' when booking, or do we need to consider anything else?

Wondering if we can do a modified version of this tour? We'd like to omit the Cairo/Giza stuff and the Hurghada transfer to airport as we'd like to join the tour when it's ready to depart for Luxor, and remain in Hurghada a bit longer. Understand me? Please advise

The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 60 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
