Itinerary
- Day 1
Quito to Isabela Island
Start with an early transfer to Quito's airport for the 3-hour flight to the Galapagos, which includes a stop in Guayaquil. After you clear customs at Baltra, a 30-minute flight takes you to Isabela Island where you'll check in at your oceanfront hotel. The rest of the day is yours to relax, walk along the beach, and catch the sunset.

Isabela Island - Los Túneles
You'll board a speedboat at either 08:30 AM or 11:00 AM and head out toward Los Túneles, which sits about an hour away by water. The route takes you past volcanic formations including Cerro Azul, Alcedo, and Union Rock. Once there, a short walk around the lava formations gives you a chance to see blue-footed boobies, pelicans, and frigate birds in their nesting areas. Lunch gets served onboard, and after eating you'll get back in the water for snorkeling where sea turtles, seahorses, marine iguanas, and sea lions are common sights. The boat returns to your hotel by late afternoon.

- Day 3
Isabela Island - Sierra Negra Volcano
A bus picks you up early morning for the 30-minute ride to Volcán Sierra Negra. From there you'll hike up toward either Volcán Chico or the volcano caldera depending on conditions and group preference. Along the way you're looking at endemic Galápagos plants and birds, and if the weather cooperates you'll get solid views of the volcano itself. You can see evidence from the July 2018 eruption scattered across the landscape. After hiking you head back down to Park Control and then get a ride back to Villamil City, arriving by afternoon.

Isabela to San Cristobal Island
After breakfast, head to the airport for a 35-minute flight to San Cristobal Island. Your representative meets you and drives you to the hotel for check-in. Then visit the Interpretation Center and hike to Tijeretas Hill, the spot where Darwin first landed, for bay views and close looks at frigate birds and blue-footed boobies on the cliffs. Spend some time near the sea lions at Playa Mann and watch the sunset before heading back to the hotel.

- Day 5
San Cristóbal Island - Kicker Rock
After breakfast you'll board a speedboat for a coastal journey along San Cristóbal heading toward Kicker Rock, which offers some of the best snorkeling conditions in the Galápagos. You spend time snorkeling through the channel looking for sharks, various fish, turtles, rays, and sea lions. The crew serves lunch onboard, and then you'll have some quieter time at either Cerro Brujo or Manglesito beach to relax before heading back to town by evening.

- Day 6
San Cristóbal to Baltra Island - Santa Cruz Highlands
After breakfast you'll head to the airport for your flight to Baltra Island. Once you land, your guide takes you through the Santa Cruz highlands where you'll walk around Twin Craters and visit the Giant Tortoise Ranch to see large land tortoises in their natural setting. The day also includes exploring the famous lava tunnels and stopping by the Charles Darwin Research Station to learn about conservation work happening across the islands. You return to Puerto Ayora and spend the night at your hotel there.

- Day 7
Baltra Island - Bartolomé Island
An early bus ride takes you to Itabaca Canal where you board a yacht for the trip to Bartolomé Island. The island's surface is covered in volcanic ash that creates distinctive formations in shades of red, orange, green, and black. Pinnacle Rock, one of the most photographed locations in the Galápagos and a former World War II military target with visible bullet holes, is where you'll find Galápagos penguins. You hike around the island, snorkel off the twin moon-shaped beaches, watch for wildlife, and have lunch onboard before returning to Puerto Ayora for your final night.

- Day 8
Baltra Island to Ecuador Mainland
After breakfast you check out at 10:00 AM and your driver picks you up for the transfer to Baltra Airport. You'll fly to either Guayaquil or Quito, and upon landing your driver meets you and takes you to a hotel near the airport for your last night in Ecuador. If you prefer you can arrange to connect your international flight the same day instead, just make sure to notify ahead of time.
