You'll arrive in Iceland and connect with your travel group right away. After settling in, there's an included dinner where you can get to know your trip mates, then you'll move on to an Icelandic beer tasting to prep your palate for the week.

Golden Circle
The Golden Circle is on the agenda today with stops at Thingvellir National Park, Strokkur Geyser, and Gulfoss Waterfall. Later you'll head to a remote location for the night, and if conditions cooperate, you might catch the Northern Lights.

South Coast and Skaftafell
You'll walk behind Seljalandsfoss Waterfall this morning, then check out Skógafoss and the South Coast including Laki lava fields. From there, you're heading to Skaftafell National Park (a UNESCO World Heritage site), and tonight you'll stay in a remote village with another shot at seeing the Northern Lights.

Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon to Reykjavik
This morning takes you to Jökulsárlón glacier lagoon and Reynisfjara black-sand beach. Optional glacier hikes and ice cave tours are available if you're interested. Later in the afternoon you'll return to Reykjavik to explore local culture, try some craft beers, and check out music venues by evening.

Reykjavik to Snæfellsnes Peninsula
Start with a walking tour of Reykjavik led by your Trip Leader, who'll share stories about Norse mythology and Viking heritage while you visit Hallgrímskirkja Church and the Sun Voyager. After that you're traveling to Snæfellsnes Peninsula with stops at Hraunfossar and Barnafoss waterfalls and Deildartunguhver hot spring. An optional geothermal bath is available, and you'll stay in a remote location with Northern Lights viewing possible.

Snæfellsnes Peninsula
You'll explore Snæfellsnes Peninsula today with views of Snæfellsjökull glacier, visit the small village of Arnarstapi, and check out Stykkishólmur fishing village. There's a stop at Liston's stone carving studio to see Icelandic artwork, and optional horse-riding along the beach is available. After that you'll head to a remote location for your final night with one last chance to see the Northern Lights, followed by a farewell dinner.

You'll return to Reykjavik with a free afternoon to do your own thing. Check out The National Museum, sample local snacks like skyr and chocolate-covered licorice, explore different neighborhoods, swim in heated local pools, or join an optional whale-watching tour if that interests you. By evening you'll gather with your group for a final dinner together.
