Itinerary
- Day 1
Cairo
You'll land at Cairo International Airport where someone from the tour company meets you for the drive to your hotel. After settling in, the rest of the day is free to relax and adjust to the time zone. There's an optional Nile dinner cruise with a live Oriental show available if you want to add that on (costs extra).

- Day 2
Cairo - Aswan
Breakfast at the hotel kicks things off, then you'll meet your private guide who's an Egyptologist. Together you'll head to Giza Plateau to see the three main pyramids and the Great Sphinx. After lunch at a local spot, you'll walk through the Egyptian Museum to see Tutankhamun's treasures and other artifacts. The afternoon continues with wandering Khan El Khalili bazaar before heading to the railway station later for an overnight train to Aswan.

- Day 3
Aswan
You'll arrive in Aswan and board your 5-star Nile cruise ship for check-in and lunch. Your guide takes you to see the Aswan High Dam in the afternoon, then you'll take a motorboat to the Temple of Philae on Agilkia Island. There's also a stop at the Unfinished Obelisk to see how ancient workers quarried stone. Dinner and overnight are back on the ship.

- Day 4
Kom Ombo
After breakfast on board, you can choose between an early morning trip to Abu Simbel temples or taking it easy on the ship while sailing. Lunch happens on the cruise, then you'll visit the Temple of Kom Ombo which honored two different gods. The evening has dinner on the ship followed by an Egyptian Folkloric Show and party.

Edfu - Luxor
You'll wake early and head off the ship to visit the Temple of Horus in Edfu, one of the best-kept temples in Egypt. Back on board for breakfast, the ship continues sailing toward Luxor. After lunch, your afternoon covers Karnak Temple Complex with its huge Hypostyle Hall and the well-preserved Luxor Temple on the East Bank. Dinner and overnight are on the cruise.

- Day 6
Luxor (West Bank)
An optional hot air balloon ride over the West Bank can happen before dawn if you choose it. After breakfast on board and checking out, your guide leads a full-day West Bank tour including three tombs in the Valley of the Kings where you'll actually go inside. You'll also see the Temple of Hatshepsut carved into cliffs and the massive Memnon statues. Later you'll head to Luxor station for an overnight train back to Cairo with dinner served.

Cairo
Your train pulls into Cairo around 7:00 AM and a tour representative meets you at the main railway station. They'll arrange your private transfer either to Cairo International Airport for your flight home or to a Cairo hotel if you're staying longer.
