On Day 2 you travel from Corfu to Kalambaka (Meteora) via public bus, then check-in to your hostel in Kalambaka first, and after that you have free time to visit the monasteries - so your luggage will be safely stored at the hostel. How long is the Meteora visit and what will we see? Meteora is free time to explore at your own pace, with orientation from your CEO. There are 6 active monasteries perched on the huge rock pillars. Most travellers visit 2-3 monasteries in about 3-4 hours. Be prepared for lots of steps! What does the Athens highlights walk include? On Day 4 in Athens your CEO will take you on a 2-3 hour orientation walk including views of the Acropolis and Parthenon (from outside), Temple of Zeus, the Plaka neighbourhood, and your visit to Shedia - a G for Good social enterprise cafe where you'll have a drink and learn about their incredible work supporting people experiencing homelessness.
