    Granada

You'll arrive in Granada and connect with the group for introductions. After getting settled, there's a short 20 km ride around the city to warm up your legs and make sure your bike feels right. This gives you a chance to adjust your equipment and get comfortable before the serious riding starts tomorrow.

You finish the day in Gorafe after covering some challenging terrain.

This is remote and isolated terrain, and you'll be riding above 2,000m elevation for stretches of the route. There's more than 70 km without passing through villages, so it's a serious day in the mountains. You'll pass through historic sites and end in Gérgal, which sits at the north entrance to the Tabernas Desert.

    Meals
Breakfast (Breakfast at the hotel), Lunch (Lunch en route), Dinner (Evening meal in Gérgal)

    Gérgal to Lucainena

You'll ride through the Tabernas Desert, which is officially Europe's only true desert. The route follows dramatic sandy river basins called Ramblas, cutting through spectacular badlands landscape. This area has been used as a filming location for classic Western and adventure movies, so the scenery has that cinematic quality to it.

Breakfast (Breakfast at the hotel), Lunch (Lunch en route), Dinner (Evening meal in Lucainena)

    Included Activities

The terrain varies between secondary roads, gravel sections, and sandy areas as you ride along the coast. You'll finish in Retamar village after a day that blends mountain descents with coastal riding.

The route was frankly ridiculous, way to long ,the way I made it was by not doing gravel, but state roads, not what I wanted but the only way to get from hotel to hotel. Also I did climb the 1500meter mountain between France and Spain, it was a challenge and you mentioning age group to 90 years old is deceiving. But I had a challenging great time, just what I signed up for
