Itinerary
- Day 1
Cappadocia
Your guide meets you at the hotel to begin exploring Cappadocia's key sites. First stop is Goreme Panorama, where you'll take in views of the town's distinctive cave houses carved into the landscape. From there, walk through the Goreme Open Air Museum to see ancient churches and monasteries built right into the fairy chimneys, some dating back centuries. After that, you'll head underground into either Ozkonak or Kaymakli to check out the multi-level underground city with its rooms, storage areas, and defense systems designed to protect early residents. Later in the day, you'll wander through Pasabagları (Monks Valley) and Devrent Valley to see more of those unique fairy chimney formations up close. Then it's time to climb up to Uchisar Castle for panoramic views across the region before heading to Pigeon Valley. The day wraps up in Avanos where you can see traditional pottery crafts in action, then you'll return to your hotel by evening.
