Itinerary

  1. Day 1

    Aswan

A Pharaohn Tours representative will meet you at your hotel, airport, or railway station in Aswan. From there, you'll take a motorboat out to Agilika Island to see the Temple of Philae, which is dedicated to the goddess Isis. The boat ride itself is part of the experience since the temple sits right on the water. Next, you'll head to the High Dam, completed in 1960, to see this engineering feat. By evening, you'll board your 5-star Nile cruise and settle in for the night.

  2. Day 2

    Edfu

After breakfast on the cruise, you'll visit the Temple of Kom Ombo, which honors both Sobek and Haroeris. What makes this temple interesting is its dual symmetrical design, which you don't see in many other Egyptian temples. You'll have lunch back on board, and then continue to the Temple of Horus in Edfu. This is one of Egypt's finest temples from the Ptolemaic period, covering about 7,000 square meters, and it shows you what well-preserved ancient Egyptian temple architecture looks like.

  3. Day 3

    Luxor

You'll spend the day on Luxor's East Bank starting with the Temple of Karnak, the largest temple complex ever built anywhere. Construction continued there for over 2,000 years, so you're seeing layers of different periods all in one place. Later in the day, you'll visit Luxor Temple to see its courtyard and the large granite statues of Ramses the Great. Both temples are major sites, so you'll get a real sense of Luxor's historical importance.

  4. Day 4

    Luxor West Bank

Your guide will pick you up around 4:30 AM for a hot air balloon ride over Luxor's West Bank. The flight lasts 40 to 55 minutes and you'll catch the sunrise from above, which gives you views of the landscape and landmarks that are hard to see from the ground. After you land, you'll visit the Valley of the Kings to explore tombs from different dynasties. You'll also stop at the Colossi of Memnon and tour both the Temple of Deir El Bahari and the Mortuary Temple of Hatshepsut. The day wraps up with a transfer to your destination in Luxor.

  • 4 Days 3 Nights Nile Cruise from Aswan to Luxor with Daily Guided Trip reviewer 1
    · May 9th, 2025
The Nile cruise was an incredible journey filled with breathtaking scenery, fascinating ancient temples, and relaxing moments on the deck. Our guide Mr.Khaled was knowledgeable and made the history come alive at every stop, from Aswan to Luxor. The staff onboard were friendly, the food was delicious, and the cabins were comfortable. We enjoyed sunsets over the Nile and took countless photos of the stunning views. It was a perfect mix of adventure and relaxation. What made this trip even more special was sharing it with amazing fellow travelers from Australia, Pakistan, Switzerland, Colombia, England, Greek and India. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Egypt!
