We wanted to see the underground city in Cappadocis however it isn't listed in the itinerary. But it IS listed as an extra expense for the entry fee. Is it included in the tour? If not, is there a time we could visit it independently? Maybe before flying to Istanbul?

We would like an alternative lodging to the cave hotel due to allergies, etc. Can that be arranged?

The worst tour I have ever been on. Do NOT use Ephesus Travel. They do not care about their clients only on maximizing their profits. The airport transfers were very bad, especially from Istanbul to the hotel. You had to wait for close to an hour for your vehicle. On the way to Istanbul airport from your hotel, in order to beat the traffic then send you to the airport up to 6 hours early. I spent more hours at the airports in Turkey than I did in my hotel room though out my week. They do not give you any information of schedules upfront. Only the afternoon of the day before. They change the planned schedule at their whim with no explanation, making it impossible to make any personal plans. They mix and match the groups so you are never with the same group for more than 1 day aside from your original 3-4 people, making it impossible to bond or forge any friendships. This was my fourth time using tour radar, and for sure it will be my last time. I do not recommend at all.Show more

Everything was wonderful, the tour guides spoke good Spanish and they all knew all the relevant information about all the sites we visited. I am marking good because you have to add all the expenses related to the museums. Some of the days can include no activities at all if you decide to not pay for them. This is not really stated in the description but in the small letters at the end of the same description. Also, there are some stops you have to make that feel that you are falling into one of those tourist traps in which they will try to sell you leather clothing for an insane amount of money or ceramic handcrafts. Nothing is compulsory but the sellers can be quite intense. Also need to consider the tipping. Around 200-400 TRY every single time you get a service or go to a restaurant can end up being a lot of money. In general I recommend the tour.Show more

It was a WhatsApp-based tour, where we received instructions via WhatsApp about what to do next. Unfortunately, the communication was difficult and disorganised, and the people we dealt with were often rude and unhelpful. They showed very little concern for our comfort or for providing a good overall experience. It felt as though their main priority was maximising profits rather than looking after their customers. On some occasions, they sent us to the airport four hours before our flight, while on others, we were picked up just 10 minutes before the baggage-drop deadline. The transfer to our hotel in Cappadocia was particularly unacceptable. At 1 a.m., we were dropped off around 1 km from our hotel, with no possibility of speaking to anyone in English and no support available via WhatsApp at that time. When we informed the company about what had happened, they showed no concern and did not even offer a simple apology. The collection times communicated via WhatsApp were also consistently inaccurate, resulting in us waiting for around 30 minutes on average every day. Overall, this was a very poorly organised service, with inadequate communication and little consideration for customers. We would not recommend this tour company.Show more

The tour was organised well. All transfers to the airports and hotels went smoothly, Ephesus team gave out clear information on meeting times and meeting points before each day. That being said, it is structured more like a private tour for a family or group who are booking it together (ideally 5-6 people) instead of being a social tour if you are going solo. If the group does not meet a booking of 10, the Istanbul tours become walking tours. Other days there are no direct flights from Izmir to Kayseri (Cappadocia) so we had to transfer to Istanbul first which took up more time travelling (about half a day). Overall the tour is still great way to visit different areas in Turkey in the span of 8 days.Show more

  day 6 flight from cappadocia to istanbul will be an afternoon flight like3-4 pm but if you want to have a big free day in istanbul we can arrange a morning flight like 10 am its up to your choice. yes you can change the date after booking with same price but like minimum 15-20 days before departure you should inform us because september is high season and hotel availabilities are limited

  1. Regarding flight times, some traveler's reviews mention late arrival at the hotel at night, and then an early start the next day. If a flight is as late as 9:30pm, it will indeed be very late by the time we arrive at the destination hotel. I understand flight option may not be always available. But if it does, it would be preferable to have flights before 8pm, ideally 5-8pm. And are they all non-stop flights? 2. Also what is the start time for Day 5, if I skip the hot air balloon?
