Itinerary
- Day 1
Arrival in Antananarivo
You'll be met at Ivato International Airport and transferred to your hotel for check-in. This gives you time to settle in and rest after your flight.
- Day 2
Andasibe
After breakfast, you'll drive to Andasibe through highlands and rice fields, passing traditional villages along the way. At Vakona reserve, you'll see five species of lemurs including the Indri (the largest lemur in Madagascar), plus there are dance performances and photo opportunities to catch.

- Day 3
Andasibe
The morning takes you to Analamazoatha reserve where you'll observe Indri lemurs and other wildlife like chameleons, reptiles, and birds. Later in the evening, you'll head out on a night walk safari to search for nocturnal animals such as mouse lemurs and fat-tailed dwarf lemurs.

Antsirabe
You'll travel south to Antsirabe, passing through Tana with an optional stop in Ambatolampy to watch aluminum pot casting if that interests you. Once you arrive, there's time to explore the surrounding areas and check out workshops featuring semi and precious stones.

Antsirabe to Ranomafana
Start with a guided tour of Antsirabe, which is known as Madagascar's cultural capital. Then you'll depart for Ranomafana, stopping in Ambositra (the woodcarving capital) to visit workshops and shop. Before reaching your destination, you'll stop at Namorona waterfall.

- Day 6
Ranomafana to Fianarantsoa
In the morning, you'll explore Ranomafana to observe endemic animals including Golden bamboo lemurs, Greater bamboo lemurs, and various reptiles and birds. After lunch, you'll head out for Fianarantsoa, the capital of the Betsileo tribe.

- Day 7
Fianarantsoa to Isalo
You'll leave Fianarantsoa heading south to Ambalavao and visit a paper fabric workshop plus the local zebu market. From there, you'll continue to Anja reserve to see ring-tail lemurs, then after lunch you'll descend to the west coast region and Isalo where savannah grasslands and zebu herds take over.

- Day 8
Isalo
You'll hike through impressive canyons leading to La Piscine Naturelle, a natural swimming pool with clear streams where you can refresh yourself. The Namaza trail continues to the camping site where three species of lemurs (browns, ring-tails, and dancing sifakas) gather for food and drink.

Isalo to Ifaty
You'll drive to Tuléar, the capital of the Vezo fishing people. Along the way, you'll pass villages formed by the sapphire rush and view the distinctive Mahafaly tombs with their unique cultural imagery representing daily life and the deceased's dreams. Lunch happens in Tuléar before continuing to Ifaty.

- Day 10
Ifaty
This is a full day at leisure in Ifaty. You can relax by the beach or arrange optional activities through your hotel (additional charge applies). The nearby spiny forest features unique vegetation, giant baobabs, nocturnal southern sportive lemurs, and endemic birds like the Sub-desert mesite and Running coua.
