  I do NOT recommending this tour with Morocco Best Tours. We were a three person English-speaking family that was excited to travel to Morocco. The tour description very clearly says that you will get an English-speaking driver. Our driver COULD NOT speak English. Any English speaker would agree that his abilities could not be classified as "English-speaking." Because of this, he barely communicated with us for nine days and we could not communicate with him, because he rarely understood what we were saying to him. This made the experience very difficult, and overall very negative. While he was only a driver and not a tour guide, you'd expect to be able to ask very basic questions about customs, the tour, etc, but because he was not English-speaking, the driver understood nothing. He would bring us places and we would have very little idea of where we were or where we were going because he could not communicate it to us clearly. In fact, he never asked two of the three people in our family our names because he probably did not know how to ask for our names in English. This should NEVER happen on a nine day private tour. He would drop us off at stops or riads with little to no explanation and other people would come and take us to where we were going. Meanwhile, we would have no idea what was going on or where we were going because our driver could not explain to it. It was scary at times. Our two private tour guides in Fes and Marrakesh were incredible and we wished our driver had even a little bit of the English speaking skills those two tour guides did.   We hired Morocco Best Tours for an 09-day grand tour of Morocco. This tour was amazing! Before I get into the specifics of the tour, I must say that Youssef was excellent at answering my questions and adjusting our tour to fit our needs. I have a daughter studying in Rabat and we wanted to spend four days in Rabat in the middle of the tour. Youssef suggested itinerary changes that made this possible. He also booked us a beautiful riad in Rabat for our stay there. Another thing I liked was the airport pick up and drop offs. We had a lot of luggage and our guide, Youssef, (the owner Youssef’s nephew) was more than helpful with our luggage… not only at the airport, but throughout the tour. For both legs of our tour (before and after visiting my daughter in Rabat), Youseff was our guide/driver. Youseff was very knowledgeable about all the sights and cities we visited. He would discuss history and tell us stories about Morocco. He would recommend excellent restaurants and shopping spots and was always able to modify the itinerary if we decided to see something on a whim. We also had excellent private guides in Fes, Volubilis and Marrakech, which were arranged by Youssef ahead of time. These guides showed us many of the important historical sites as well as the best places to shop… places where you can buy authentic artisan crafts, as some shops in Morocco (even in the Medinas) carry products made in China. We split our trip into two legs. The first leg included Casablanca, Chefchaouen, Volubilis, Fes and Meknes, as well as some small sights along the way. Of these, Chefchaouen was probably our favorite. We only spent one night there, but I would highly recommend staying there for two nights. The Roman ruins with their tile mosaics at Volubilis were amazing and Fes has a great Medina with beautiful artisan shopping. We would love to have been able to spend more time in Meknes…next time. After a beautiful stay with my daughter in Rabat, we embarked on our second leg of the tour which included the Mid Atlas, Merzouga and the Sahara, Todra Gorge, Ouarzazate and Marrakech. The desert area was phenomenal! Everything from the overnight camel trek, to the souk in Merzouga, to the very special musical performance outside Merzouga by the Gnawan musicians was extraordinary. The Todra gorge was far more enormous than I could have imagined. The Kasbahs in the Dades Valley were fantastic and Marrakech has all the fun and freaks of a carnival, while encompassing all the history that is Morocco. Throughout the tour, the hotels and riads were always comfortable and clean; and most of the time luxurious with beautiful views. A guide/driver on a private tour can make or break the tour. Our guide, Youssef, was a gem and made our tour special and unique. He was helpful, kind, knowledgeable and adaptable to our desires. We would recommend Youssef to anybody’s tour.   an unforgettable Family trip ever. this was a birthday gift from my father. We love travel together and Morocco was on his bucket list so we decided this would be the most fascinating choice. Everything about this trip was magnificent, from the first interaction we had with Med, the planner of our flawless schedule, to the unrivaled knowledge of our driver Saiid. Although organizing a s private Morocco tour can be difficult, Med made the process look easy. His meticulous attention to detail and understanding of our interests ensured that our schedule was created perfectly. Each day was a new chapter in our Moroccan dream and we had the opportunity to experience the best of this amazing country. Our journey began in Casablanca, where our driver Saiid greeted us with a friendly smile and an infectious enthusiasm for the local Moroccan. He is so knowledgeable, wonderful sense of humor, and helped above and beyond what was expected. He got us everywhere safely and in good time. Thanks to him, we were lucky enough, we did become quite lost one night on our own…but he had carefully given us the bearings to find our way riad. But it wasn't just the driver that amazed us. Our accommodation was a tasteful blend of luxury and authenticity throughout the trip, so clean, comfortable, and artfully decorated, and served delicious and plentiful breakfasts, especially in the riads. This sahara desert travel is a must if you are looking for an adventure that will ignite your soul and leave you with memories to last a lifetime!!! It was an experience far from the lives we know and truly etched in our hearts. Dive in, embrace the Moroccan culture, and let Morocco Best Tours take you on an unforgettable journey.   Truly a spectacular trip. I went with a friend on the full tour of Morocco and I do not think I will be able to travel internationally the same way again. Our guide, Hasib, went above and beyond in every way, We did not have to worry about a single thing the entire trip as he took us to the best places around the country. All of the riads we stayed at exceeded our expectations. We were set up with local guides (included in the price) in cities like Fes and Marrakesh that did an amazing job as well. Khalid was incredibly knowledgeable about all of the areas we went. He was also very accommodating to our needs if we wanted to alter the trip in any way. This was easily the best trip I have ever been on and I can't wait to visit Morocco again!Show more
