Itinerary
- Day 1
Libreville
When you arrive at Libreville International Airport, the tour company's staff will be waiting to greet you. They'll walk you through customs and help with changing money, then drive you to the Radisson Blu hotel. You'll have the rest of the day to settle in and get ready for what's ahead.

- Day 2
Libreville - Port Gentil - Loango National Park
Pick up happens at 6 AM for a 7 AM flight to Port Gentil. Once you land, your guide meets you and it's about a 3-hour drive by 4x4 to Loango Lodge. After lunch, you can decide what to do in the afternoon - maybe a 4x4 safari, beach tour, boat safari, walking safari, or kayaking if you're up for it, or just hang out by the pool. Later in the evening, there are guided hikes for spotting wildlife or boat trips to look for crocodiles.

- Day 3
Gorilla Trekking at Loango
Start with continental breakfast overlooking the Iguela River. At 07:30, you leave Loango Lodge and arrive at the Gorilla Tourism Camp by 08:30-09:00. After a safety briefing, you trek with guides to find habituated gorillas for about an hour of observation. You'll return to camp for refreshments and discussion. An optional boat activity is available in the evening.

Forest Hike and Boat Tour
The morning brings an educational walk through the forest with an eco-guide to see wildlife and birds. Back at the lodge, you have lunch and time to rest. In the afternoon, take a scenic boat ride on the Mpivie river to spot crocodiles and bird species. The evening offers a sunset tour of the lagoon or a close encounter with forest elephants on the Akaka River.

Game Drives and Wildlife
Spend your day on 4x4 game drives through the park looking for buffalo, elephant, red river hogs, and sitatunga. If you're visiting during rainy season (November to April), large mammals roam freely on the beach. You'll have sundowners while touring the lagoon or get close to forest elephants on the Akaka river.

Landmarks Loango Park - Day 6
Akaka
Today you'll spend the day at AKAKA, which is sometimes called the 'Okavango of Gabon', and it's in the southern section of Loango Park. Most of your time will be on the water, where you have solid chances of seeing forest elephants, birds, crocodiles, hippos, and other animals. You'll get to see elephants coming down to the river to bathe in this really remote area. By evening you'll head to Akaka Bush camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Akaka Exploration
You'll explore the Akaka region with experienced guides throughout the day. Morning and afternoon include boat rides and forest hikes to appreciate the scenery and calm atmosphere. Basic equipment is recommended for forest exploration. The rest of your day is spent relaxing at camp before dinner.

Departure
Pack your belongings and enjoy an early lunch before heading out for a 4-hour drive to Port-Gentil. Once you arrive, ground staff will help with check-in for a short flight to Libreville and your transfer to the hotel.
