Evashanee· September 18th, 2025We used this company for our Switzerland tour. The correspondence between the team and myself was very good. It was very disappoiting though that after 70% of the trip was paid for and before the company could release the tour vouchers and train tickets, we were asked to pay more money as the exchange rate had suddenly increased. We should have seen this as alarm bells. The first half of the trip was fine then it turned to custard when we got to Lucerne. The hotel we stayed in was the worst low 3 star hotel we ever stayed in our entire adult life and due to no airconditioning and the extreme heat in Switzerland , my husband became ill. Apart from Zermatt, the hotels provided were far below the standard promised—cramped rooms with uncomfortably soft beds and no air-conditioning. I’ve seen the price online …. It’s cheap, basic and awful. For the money we paid we expected much more. From Lucerne onwards, the itinerary was poorly planned, with unnecessary travel back and forth and no flexibility, even though I requested changes as early as July. This was in stark contrast to my previous trip through Rome, Florence, Venice, and Milan with STM Tours, where every hotel was a true superior 4-star, train travel was seamless, and I was able to make changes without hidden charges. Our comfort was never compromised.
