We don't have the exact name of the hotel this time since we need to check the availability after you book the trip. The list is subject to change. Currently, we do not support tours that have groups that can join you from the beginning to the end of the trip. Most of our tour is a partial group tour in which you will have a group tour for the excursion at each place, for airport pick up and accommodation are private (stay in your own room, do not share a room with anyone on the trip). The price will be higher than the price of a group of 2 people with a single supplementary charge.

What would the cost be to upgrade the trip to 4 star? If we were to keep the 3 star, and just upgrade the Ha Long cruise to 4 star, what would that cost be? We arrive on Nov 17th at 18:30, is it possible to get an extra night / free day at the hotel and start the organised tour on the 19th? While I am normally quite active I can get a sore knee at times, if that happens is it possible to sit out a walk?

during this The Beauty of Northern Vietnam in 8 Days tour, you will join the group tours in Vietnam (group size maybe 12-14 people). The group tour is NOT that you share with the same group from the beginning till the end. Most of our tour is a partial group tour in which you will have DIFFERENT GROUPS for excursion at each place, but airport pick-up/drop-off and accommodation are private, just join a group on days you have a tour. So you will have your own room.

What do you mean by local payment? If we book for 6 persons, does it means we need to pay 6 times equal local payment?

Our package includes 2 parts: Upfront Payment + Local Payment. - For Upfront Payment, you have to pay before the trip on the Tourradar system. - For the Local Payment, it's USD 250 per person. But you can pay the Local Payment anytime till your arrival day by cash (new USD bills), or a credit card payment link, NOT compulsory to pay in advance like the Upfront Payment.

This trip exceeded my expectations in every way. The itinerary was well-organized, there was never a dull moment, yet we still had time to relax and enjoy the scenery. The day in Hanoi gave me a deeper understanding of Vietnamese culture and history, and our guide was very knowledgeable. Hiking through the valleys and meeting the ethnic minorities in Sapa felt very authentic and eye-opening for me, and Pu Luong was such a peaceful escape. Halong Bay at the end was the perfect finale, the scenery was magical, and spending the night on the boat was so unique. Everything was seamless from airport pickup to hotel check-ins. Everything went pretty smoothly on this trip, from pickup at the airport to dropoff at the airport. At times, there were long waits, but only because of tourist crowds and the difficulty of pickups in the Old Quarter, so I don't blame the operator for that. Chris stayed in touch with me throughout the trip, letting me know when the bus would be picking me up each day. I went in March, so the weather was mild, but also susceptible to rain/fog. Halong Bay and Ninh Binh were still amazing despite that, but I didn't get the panoramic views that would have been possible on a clear day. My only word of caution would be that the trekking in Sapa is challenging in terms of mileage (my Fitbit rung up 9.6 miles) and the steepness of the descent, so you will need to be a strong hiker. It is also a LONG bus ride (6 hrs each way), but it's worth it to see the terraces and eat some chestnut cakes (banh hat de). You will need to have a little change for the bathrooms during the rest stops (3000 dong). Overall, I was very satisfied. You could easily spend a week just in Hanoi trying all the street foods. Aside from the bun cha and the pho that you've probably had before, there are excellent places for che (fruits and beans in icy coconut milk, the best), banh canh cua (rice noodle soup with crab broth), bun ca (rice noodle soup with fish), and mien luon tron (fried eel vermicelli).Show more

She was contactable throughout the whole trip. We scheduled to have Halong Bay cruise in the last 2 days in our itinerary. However a typhoon was approaching Vietnam and the government announced no cruise was allowed to set sail for safety reason. Ms Mai Hoa immediately contacted us and offered alternative trips for choosing. The difference in the tour fee was refunded to us after our trip finished. Payment information
- For any tour departing before May 16th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after May 16th, 2026, a minimum payment of 10% is required to confirm your booking with Vietnam Tour Fun. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 60 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
- Some departure dates and prices may vary and Vietnam Tour Fun will contact you with any discrepancies before your booking is confirmed.
- The following cards are accepted for "Vietnam Tour Fun" tours: Visa, Maestro, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal. TourRadar does NOT charge you an extra fee for using any of these payment methods.
