  Not happy with the overall experience. The crew were inhospitable and unwelcoming, the tour guide left us to do whatever we wanted, no help or recommendations when it came to docking at different places. She admitted it was her first time taking that tour and she was unsure of what she was doing. Towels weren't changed for the whole week. Everyone on the boat was sick, some staff left the boat midway through the trip, so we were understaffed for half the holiday. The food was poor quality and by the end of the week practically inedible, as the cook left the boat ill. I understand that people cannot help if they are unwell, but there was no contingency plan and we suffered from poor service as a result. The drinks were warm, we didn't dock into most places until later in the evening (weather affected this), meaning we had little to no time to explore the islands. We had to pay port tax at the begininng of the holiday, yet were never allowed to dock in the main ports because the boat was too noisy. This resulted in us paying more to travel into the main town every day. One evening, we didn't dock at all and we were forced to pay a ridiculous €25 each for a BBQ (without drinks) which was not worth the money or what anyone wanted. It felt like you were stuck on the boat, with no other options but to spend money. I expected much better service and direction from the tour guide, the overall experience was terrible and I would not recommend this to someone in future.Show more

  Dear Mrs. Ryan. Thank you for your review. After checking with the ships captain and the tour guide on board we can address the issues stated. The tour guide stated that the guests have in written on the info board how the day is goong to look like, when the ship is going to dock and were and suggestions for the activities. For example, in Mljet, they did a bike ride around the lake (about 18 people). Kayaking in Dubrovnik and rafting on Cetina were suggested, but refused because of the high price and early awakening. You, yourself did the bunge jumping as suggested and lead by the tour guide. It is her first year but certanly not the first cruise. In this cruise category linen change is not included but was offered and refuse because of the price. There were indeed some guests and crew members ill. One waitress and a sailor left the ship but the new waitress replaced her and there ware still two sailors on board the ship as required. The cooked did get ill as well but did not left the ship and was helped from one of the sailors preparing the meals. Some meals have been left uneaten but the guests stated to the our guide it is because of the digestive problems often present on Young and fun cruises. As this is a party cruise as per regulations the ship can only dock in certain parts of the ports because of the extensive noise. The only day the ship did docked late was in Hvar and it was caused by the weather conditions on the sea (high wind). In fact this was the only wooden ship that did docked that they in Hvar. Other boats of that category stated in the port. Because of the bad weather and the bed weather forecast for the next day and a difficult sail towards Dubrovnik it was suggested and agreed with all the guests that the BBQ dinner will be done closer to port Gruž and Dubrovnik. A few guests have stated that they will not have the BBQ dinner and they eat at Mljet earlier in the day. Your friend indeed missed the dinner as she did not felt good entire day. We have to emphasize that the captain and the tour guide on board did not receive any or concerns expressed by the guests during the cruise. Also one bill was left unpaid when your friend rang the bell as a sing for a round of drinks on her. She said that she will withdraw the money but never came back. We truly are sorry that you did not had a good time on this cruise but sometimes the peoples expectations are not in the accordance with cruise category and itinerary on which the cruise was booked.
