The trip was very varied and perfectly organized. The itinerary goes through 3 countries and covers almost 4,000 km. This means that on some days we drove for many hours and set off early. Even on these long days, regular breaks were taken and there was always something exciting to observe. On the last day (according to the program) we were supposed to reach the airport at around 17h00 and the official end was 18h00. We had therefore opted for a flight at 23:00 instead of 19:00. Other guests had flights at 19:00 and we arrived at the airport at 15:00. The airport has a lot of "local" stores, so the time passed quickly. The tour guides are impressive and have a broad and detailed knowledge of the different countries, cultures, wildlife, nature, astronomy... In addition, they have excellent organizational skills, are safe drivers and can conjure up really good menus with the mobile kitchen. We were completely satisfied with the tour and our expectations were exceeded. The tour is highly recommended for nature and animal lovers looking for a little adventure.

    Asked on January 18th, 2025

Will the game drives be on road or off road or mixture of both? What kind of vehicles? Do we get to see animals up close? How are the road conditions? Would it be an issue for someone with some motion sickness? For accommodations that are camping, can you describe what it is? Is it sleeping bags or have some type of beds?

    • DIAMIR ErlebnisreisenOperatorWritten January 2025

Game drives in Kruger NP will be done in safari truck with panoramic windows, game drives in other parks will be in open vehicles. If you find animals you will likely see them closer or further, it depends on the type of animals and shyness. Road conditions on highways are usually good to fair with some patches of potholes but tracks/gravel roads through national parks are rough. You might encounter motion sickness if you are prone to it while driving. There are 2 basic camping nights planned but you will have a stretcher bed in it (with bedding).
