Itinerary
- Day 1
New Delhi to Manali
You'll arrive in Manali by morning flight from New Delhi and get settled into your hotel. After lunch, your photography expert will walk you through what to expect during the week in Spiti Valley, covering landscape techniques, cultural photography, and how to capture people and places. The evening is yours to wander around Manali and get a feel for the town before heading into the mountains.

- Day 2
Manali - Rohtang Pass - Kunzum Pass - Spiti Valley
Starting early, you'll drive up to Rohtang Pass at over 13,000 feet (3,962 meters) with dramatic rocky cliffs and green slopes all around. From there, it's into the Lahaul region with its stark, barren mountain landscape. Later you'll cross Kunzum Pass at nearly 15,000 feet (4,575 meters) and descend into Spiti Valley where small patches of green and villages start appearing. You'll reach Losar, the first settlement in Spiti, and continue on to Kaza for the night.

- Day 3
Kaza
Spend most of this day resting and letting your body adjust to the altitude over 10,000 feet (3,048 meters), with indoor photography sessions to help pass the time. In the afternoon, head to Ki Monastery, an 800-year-old Buddhist structure where a monk will guide you through ancient rooms filled with details worth photographing. From the monastery windows, you get views of the Spiti River, the valley spread out below, and snow-capped peaks in the distance.

Landmarks Ki Monastery - Day 4
Langza
Take a relaxed morning, then drive to Langza Village, a small settlement surrounded by green barley and pea fields with incredible views of Chau Chau Kang Nilda Peak at 20,000 feet (6,096 meters). You'll spend the afternoon and evening walking through the fields, visiting a tall Buddha statue sitting on a ridge, and talking with local villagers and kids. As the sun sets, try star photography with the snow peak glowing in your shots.

Landmarks Langza Village Chau Chau Kang Nilda Peak - Day 5
Langza - Komic - Hikkim
Spend part of the morning still in Langza, then drive in the afternoon to check out Komic and Hikkim villages, among the highest settlements in Spiti Valley and the world. You'll see how people have built lives and communities at such extreme altitudes for centuries, all surrounded by dramatic mountain terrain and high-altitude landscapes.

Spiti Valley to Chandratal Lake
Head out early and take a slow drive toward Chandratal Lake, stopping along the way to take in the views. By evening, you'll be camping near the calm blue waters of Chandratal Lake, close enough to walk to the shore anytime.

Landmarks Chandratal Lake - Day 7
Chandratal Lake to Manali
If you're up for it, get up early while it's cold to visit Chandratal Lake again and see how different light at sunrise changes how the water looks. After breakfast, you'll head back toward Manali with stops to photograph along the river and capture Bada Shigri, the largest glacier in Himachal Pradesh.

Manali
Spend the day on a walking tour of Manali, checking out local spots at your own pace. In the evening, your host-tour operator will throw a gala farewell dinner with barbecue and unlimited drinks. Everyone gets a gift presentation to take home as a memento of the trip.

Manali to New Delhi
After breakfast, head to Bhunter airport to catch your flight back to New Delhi. Once you land at the domestic airport, you'll either go to your hotel or head straight to IGI International Airport for your flight home.
