  You're absolutely right that the Aurora Borealis is more visible from late September onward when the nights are darker. That said, our Alaska Discovery trip is designed as a summer experience, which is why departures run through August when conditions are ideal for exploring national parks, wildlife, and scenic routes. Unfortunately, we don't currently offer fall departures for this itinerary, and it isn't specifically structured around Northern Lights viewing.
