Itinerary
- Day 1
Albuquerque
Your tour kicks off when you arrive in Albuquerque by 3:00pm. Meet your tour director at the airport for the hotel transfer, and after you've had time to settle into your room, head out with the group for a welcome dinner at a local restaurant.

- Day 2
Albuquerque
An early morning transfer gets you to the Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta for the Dawn Patrol and Mass Ascension, followed by breakfast at the Chasers Club. From there, check out the Turquoise Museum to see the different turquoise specimens and learn about stone crafting techniques. Later, spend time walking through historic Old Town where you can wander the courtyards, stroll along the portals, and browse through galleries. Dinner is on your own this evening.

- Day 3
Albuquerque
Ride the Sandia Peak Tramway up to 10,387 feet for views of the city and the balloons below. You'll get to see pueblo culture firsthand with demonstrations of traditional dancing and craftspeople working. After lunch, you'll have free time to rest before heading to dinner at the Chasers Club. Later in the evening, head to Fiesta Field to catch the Balloon Glow and New Mexico's fireworks display.

- Day 4
Albuquerque to Santa Fe
Drive the Turquoise Trail to Madrid, a ghost town where old miners' houses sit next to artists' studios and galleries. From there, visit Chimayo to watch Spanish weavers and woodcarvers doing traditional craftwork at the Santuario de Chimayo. Continue on to Taos, founded in 1617, where you'll have time to walk around the plaza, try local food, and check out artists' galleries. See Taos Pueblo, which has been inhabited for over 800 years with adobe buildings that look much like they did in the 1540s. On the way back to Santa Fe, stop along the Rio Grande for the scenery. Dinner is free for you to choose.

- Day 5
Santa Fe
Spend the day exploring Santa Fe on a walking tour that covers Santa Fe Plaza, the Palace of the Governors, Loretto Chapel (a small replica of Sainte-Chapelle in Paris), and the oldest church in New Mexico. In the afternoon, grab lunch on your own and spend time browsing shops, galleries, and the Indian Market where native artists sell their work directly. Wrap up your trip with a special farewell dinner.
