. They apologised and offered us a $225 credit. To be honest the Egypt trip was great historically and the 2 guides we had were great. The Nile boat was old and the cabins and sundeck needed refurbishing. El Karma was a disaster. It equated to a UK 1960’s Butlins. Food was just slop. Pools were green. Not a good experience at all. We were glad to leave. Drinks were all Egyptian alcohol, which was not good. It all tasted the same. 5-star in Egypt is equivalent to 1-2 star anywhere else in the world. Overall we are glad to have done it, definitely an Intrepid Journey, but would we go back, definitely not.Show more

Here's a quick thank you from the guides who helped you get your lost luggage from the airlines, Also the seamless transfers and additional hour's wait at the airport by the driver and the guide while you reported your lost luggage. We understand this overall star rating doesn't reflect the overall organisation of the trip, with great guides & transfers. We also do not see any mention of the hotel overlooking the Pyramids in here which was the only hotel you fed us back on while on the trip. Our team loves to stay in touch while our guests are on the tour and make things right even if that means making upgrades while on the tour to customer satisfaction, Unfortunately all this feedback about the Nile boat and the El Karma is coming as a surprise to us. We have taken your feedback constructively although it's a surprise as we were connected on a live chat group and didn't hear any of this from yourselves. Payment information
- For any tour departing before October 27th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after October 27th, 2026, a minimum payment of 25% is required to confirm your booking with Wanderful Holidays LLC. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 60 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
- Some departure dates and prices may vary and Wanderful Holidays LLC will contact you with any discrepancies before your booking is confirmed.
