- Day 2
Strasbourg to Molsheim
The cycling begins today along the Canal de la Bruche, following an old wine transport route from Strasbourg toward Molsheim. You'll pedal through several wine-growing towns, and depending on your pace, you might pass through Obernai or stop in the village of Barr. The terrain is relatively flat and the scenery shifts from urban areas to vineyards. By evening you'll reach your stage destination and can rest after your first day on the bike.

Today's route takes you deeper into Alsatian wine country. You'll cycle through Mittelbergheim, Andlau, Itterswiller, and Dambach-la-Ville, then continue to Ribeauvillé. From there, you'll head to your final destination for the day, either Riquewihr or Kaysersberg depending on your chosen route. Both villages have cobblestone streets, half-timbered houses, and local wine to taste. It's a longer cycling day, but the villages along the way make for good photo stops and lunch breaks.
