- Day 1
Strasbourg
You'll arrive in Strasbourg and get settled at your hotel after dropping off luggage. The afternoon gives you time to walk around the city center, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and check out the Gothic cathedral. It's a good chance to get your bearings before the biking starts tomorrow.

- Day 2
Strasbourg to Obernai
Start biking along the Canal de la Bruche heading toward Molsheim. You'll pass the 12th-century Romanesque church at Rosheim on the way. After that, continue on to the Obernai region where you'll spend the night.

Alsatian Wine Villages
Today's ride takes you through the wine vineyards and villages that Alsace is known for. You'll go through Mittelbergheim, Andlau, Itterswiller, Dambach-la-Ville, Ribeauvillé, and Riquewihr. Each stop offers chances to see local culture, folk traditions, and the landscape that makes this region distinctive.

Kaysersberg - Colmar
Continue biking along the wine route with the Vosges Mountains as your backdrop. You'll reach Eguisheim and then Kaysersberg, which won the 'Favorite Village of the French' award in both 2013 and 2017. By evening you'll arrive in Colmar to explore the old town and visit the Unterlinden Museum, where the Issenheim Altarpiece is housed.

- Day 5
Guebwiller - Mulhouse
From Colmar, bike south along the wine route toward Guebwiller. At this point you can either take a train or continue on by bike to Ungersheim to see the Ecomuseum of Alsace, an open-air museum set up like an early 20th-century village. If you bike to Ungersheim, you'll then head to Mulhouse and return to Colmar by train.

Landmarks Ecomuseum of Alsace - Day 6
Neuf-Brisach - Mulhouse
Bike from Colmar to Neuf-Brisach, a UNESCO-listed Vauban stronghold. Pass through Ottmarsheim with its Romanesque church, then ride through the Hardtwald forest and along the Canal du Rhône au Rhin. You'll finish in Mulhouse, a city that mixes historic character with modern attractions including a well-known automobile museum.

Mulhouse to Basel
You'll start cycling along the Rhône-Rhine Canal following the EuroVélo 6 route, which takes you through some really nice countryside in southern Alsace. The ride passes by Illfurth and then moves into the Sundgau region where you'll see those characteristic half-timbered farmhouses dotting the landscape alongside ponds. After pedaling through this rural stretch, you arrive in Basel, a tri-national city that sits at the intersection of Switzerland, France, and Germany. The city itself has a cosmopolitan feel to it with a reputation for offering a high quality of life, so there's plenty to explore once you get there.
