You'll arrive in Cairns and meet your local host who'll help you get oriented. They can answer questions about the area and work with you to figure out what you want to do during your time here. It's a good chance to settle in and start planning your activities.

The day is completely yours to structure however you want. You might spend time at the resort pool, walk through local boutiques and galleries for souvenirs, or check out the dining and entertainment scene downtown. Whatever appeals to you, you've got the flexibility to do it.

Landmarks Esplanade, Cairns - Day 3
Great Barrier Reef
You'll board a catamaran heading out to the Outer Great Barrier Reef. Once there, you can snorkel, take a tour on the semi-submersible watercraft to see the underwater life without getting wet, or listen to a marine biologist talk about the reef ecosystem. The boat heads back to Cairns in the late afternoon, giving you time to freshen up before dinner.

Pick what sounds interesting to you.

Cairns to Sydney
You'll transfer to Cairns International Airport for your flight to Sydney. After you arrive and get settled, the rest of the day is free. You can grab lunch, check into your accommodation, and maybe take a walk around to get your bearings in this new city.

Sydney
A guided tour takes you to see the Opera House and Harbour Bridge with photo stops at both. You'll also head to Bondi Beach to see one of Sydney's most iconic stretches of sand. After that, your local host is on hand to suggest places for dinner, shopping, or other things to see in the city.
