  Amazing time! Was a great experience and the agency did a fantastic job finding great tour guides. Hotels were great, minor issues in Rome with location so I advise checking hotel vicinity to nearby areas. Venice upgrades were worth it and so were the Sorrento hotel accommodations. Train upgraded seats are extremely nice and worth it for a comfortable ride.Show more

  Overall trip was just ok . Please be careful and triple check your hotel stays as well as locations. I am patiently waiting for a resolve concerning one of my stays which was not correct in the description advertised also not what for what I paid for. Because it happened on the last leg of my tour I really didn't see it coming and I really didn't have enough time to really re-route properly, therefore leaving me with a "not so perfect Birthday trip".Show more

  We take customer feedback very seriously and hate to lose any stars. A guest taking the time to write about their experience is very precious to us, and we truly value and appreciate it. We have reviewed the details of your bookings and noticed that a third party traveled with you. This person attempted to book the same arrangements independently and had additional excursions planned for your group, which were arranged without consulting us and were booked from Sorrento, not from the Amalfi Coast. Upon realizing that the self-arranged excursions were from a distant location, the first request to change the hotel mentioned that the room wasn't great, without addressing the location issue. Our team coordinated with the hotel and arranged an upgrade and change within an hour. The hotel was then described as cheap in terms of price, but when asked for proof, we received no response. After a satisfactory room was provided and agreed upon, the issue of location was raised. Our team worked quickly and offered to move you to a new hotel, three minutes walk from the beach in Amalfi. However, this offer was denied because your excursion was booked from Sorrento, and you insisted on staying there. Our team agreed to reimburse you for the cost of the new hotel and all future arrangements. Upon reviewing the paperwork, it became clear that the reimbursement request was for three guests (with a room booked for three), not the two guests originally included in your booking. Additionally, certain services, such as transfers arranged for two people, were also used by the third person. We find this act unreasonable and unfair. We had also arranged for a cake to celebrate your birthday at the hotel, which we understand was delivered to you a day early, as agreed, since you were moving to a different location to connect with your self-booked excursion. In conclusion, our team works diligently and patiently to resolve any issues that may arise during a trip, and we see that this was the case here. However, the expectation for reimbursement for costs associated with a third person not included in the original booking is not something we can accommodate. We often receive praise for our attentive and responsive team and will continue to maintain these standards. We believe this feedback is largely a result of the unreasonable demand for reimbursement related to the third person's use of services.

  My partner and I booked with Wanderful Holidays for our first trip to Italy! We did Venice- Rome- Almafi Coast. We had an incredible time. Wanderful Holidays went above and beyond for us this trip. All the travelling was well planned with reminders the day before and any questions Wanderful would get back to us immediately on WhatsApp. I made a mistake thinking that the hotel transfer was included from Naples train station to Almafi Coast, my partner and I were panicking the night before looking into public transport which would have taken another 3 hours (train, bus and ferry). Wanderful holidays searched high and low for a reputable transfer as their usual company were fully booked, by the time we woke up in the morning it was all sorted and the transfer was waiting for us at the train station. My partner and Wanderful were also in contact 2 weeks prior to our holiday as my partner wanted to organise a treat for my birthday on the last day of our trip, to my complete surprise Wanderful gifted me with beautiful roses, Prosecco and a personalised cake brought up to our hotel room! Overall I would 100% recommend Wanderful Holidays to anyone. We have had a lovely experience and made incredible memories on this trip.Show more

  The trip was a great time and enjoyed by all four of us. The accommodations were not needed in Venice, but our stays in Roma and Amalfi were lovely. Shout out to the Guardian Hotel and San't Angelo Resort and Spa. The staff at both were very helpful while we stayed with them. The train connections were no trouble at all. Overall, the only thing that would be nice is being given options for hotels to choose from along with the addresses so that we can plan what items of interest might be nearby to continue our adventures. Questions were answered in a timely manner for most things. The staff was helpful although it seemed with one or two of them, there may have been a communication barrier or lack of understanding. Overall: Great tour to go on and would recommend.Show more

About giving the options on the hotels, We have contracts with certain hotels for better pricing than what you will get in the open market, they have great reviews and are ready to extend us better room types and promptly answer any complaints, are tried and tested properties as you yourself shouted out for at least 2 of them from amongst 3 used on your tour :-) but we will be adding more such properties so we are hopefully able to give choice to our guests.   This was my first experience with an "independent tour", and it's a good fit for the way I vacation. The provider (Wanderful Holidays) is good at identifying affordable four-star properties, and at putting together an overall plan (cities, length of stay, transportation), and letting me focus on how I visit the destinations. They can help select and book local organized tours, but by default they leave you alone to wander and explore on your own. They can also modify the itinerary for you. For me, they added two nights at the end so I could visit the ruins at Pompeii and Herculaneum. Throughout the tour, they kept in touch, reconfirmed reservations, help solve problems, and reminded me of upcoming train reservations and hotel reservations. One downside surprise of this tour was that the "Amalfi Coast" stay was not on the Amalfi Coast (on the south shore of the Sorrento Peninsula), but along the Gulf of Naples (the north shore) in the hills above Vico Equense. It was a lovely hotel with a great view of Vesuvius, but far enough from cities and restaurants to require some expense and on-the-fly planning on my part.Show more

For this reason, we always offer guests a clear alternative to stay in Sorrento, which provides a more central base with easier access to restaurants, markets, transport links, and day trips, including visits to the Amalfi Coast for those who wish to explore it without staying there overnight. We regret if this distinction didn’t fully align with your expectations, and we truly value this feedback as it helps us continue to set even clearer expectations and guide travellers toward the option that best suits their travel style.   We enjoyed our trip and most accommodation was very good. We had a hiccup at one place, the room we were given by the hotel was very sub-standard which caused some stress. However, the booking staff answered our messages promptly and worked at getting a resolution asap. We were changed to a better room for the remaining 2 nights. The other hotels were very good although not always central requiring a little travel to and from. I appreciated the booking staff answering questions asap and checking in with us, as this was the first time we had done a 'tour ' such as this and at times needed clarification on what was included and what we needed to arrange.Show more
