The overall experience was very good. The preparation and communications on the specific arrangements, transportation, lodging and tour coordination was somewhat lacking. Some of the descriptions during the trip were confusing and at times in conflict with itself. we were told on some occasions to be at locations out- of sequences so we had to risk same day or night before communications to get directions straightened out. One time we barely made the initial meeting point by the required time. JR Regional pass voucher was not received at the hotel until the very last moment and directions to use it could have been better. Kimono walk on 10/23/24 did not occur and request for gluten free meal was not communicated resulting in my wife not bale to eat here dinner meal at the inn. They were very apologetic about the loss of communication, but this could have been avoided. Tour guides were always very good. They were conscientious and always courteous and organized. Again overall, the experience was positive.Show more
