There are still some tickets available for a shorter visit, which includes access only to the upper part of Machu Picchu (Route 1 – Panoramic: Classical viewpoints). This route allows you to enjoy the iconic panoramic views, but it does not include the full circuit through the citadel. If you are able to travel after the third week of June, there are still tickets available for the regular Machu Picchu tour.

    • Peru Trek 4 GoodOperatorWritten March 2026

The flight from Lima to Cusco costs about: US$200 – US$250. Additionally, if you would like, you can finish the trip in Atacama by paying an extra fee on Day 12.

    • Peru Trek 4 GoodOperatorWritten March 2026

We can provide vegetarian meals during the trip. If you are strictly vegan, we recommend bringing some additional food for certain tours where vegan options may be limited.

    William

    Asked on January 11th, 2026

I see that I need to book domestic flights. Please could you help and advise me with this.? Have also seen in the reviews that there are not many flights to return home from La Paz, and some choose to return home from Chile? I would also like to do a flight over the Nazca lines before starting the tour. I see on your website that you offer this also. I am not a very experienced traveller. How many days would you recommend arriving before the start of the tour, bearing mind I would like to do the Nazca line flight.

    Flights / Transfers
    • Peru Trek 4 GoodOperatorWritten January 2026

Yes you will need to book your flights: From Lima to Cusco and your international flight after the trip, this could be from Chile. You can finish our trip in Atacama, from there you go by car to Calama and from there you fly to Santiago and home

Yes you can also do the nazca lines before the trip, for this you will need 2 extra full days

    • W

      William

      TravelerWritten January 2026

If I book your Peru and Bolivia tour through TourRadar, can I book the Nazca lines flight directly with you, rather than another company?

And, could you also arrange the domestic flights needed for the tour, and tell how much it would cost.

If you are able to help me with these arrangements it would really help me with logistics, as I'm really unsure what times I should book the domestic flights so it doesn't interrupt the tour.

After your tour I am considering spending three days in the Amazon at Tambopata. Please could you tell me the best way travel from La Paz to there?

    • Peru Trek 4 GoodOperatorWritten January 2026

Yes, after booking this trip; you can book later the Nazca lines tour or any other

We can give you our prices for the flights, but you have to confirm the arrival date in Lima

If you want to go to the Amazon at Tambopata this is the recommended itinerary:

      Day 1 Arrival in Lima

Day 2 Lima City Tour. Overnight in Lima (extra night)

Day 3 Flight to Maldonado – Amazon Planet Lodge (extra night)

Day 4 Amazon Planet Lodge (extra night)

Day 5 Amazon Planet Lodge – Maldonado - Flight to Cusco

Day 6 Cusco – Explore Ancient Wonders and Iconic Sites

Day 7 Sacred Valley Tour & Aguas Calientes – Pisac, Market & Ollantaytambo

Day 8 Discover Machu Picchu – Sunrise Experience & Guided Tour

Day 9 Choose Your Adventure – Salt Mines, Moray on ATVs, Rainbow Mountain, or Humantay Lake Hike

Day 10 Journey to Puno – Scenic Bus or Luxury Train Experience

Day 11 Explore Titicaca Lake & Journey to Copacabana.

Day 12 Island of the Sun, Copacabana, La Paz, and Overnight Bus to Uyuni

Day 13 Explore Uyuni - Train Cemetery, Colchani, Salt Flats, & San Juan

Day 14 Explore the Wonders of San Juan to Laguna Colorada

Day 15 Laguna Colorada to San Pedro de Atacama

      William

      TravelerWritten January 2026

Does that mean I can book all three. The Amazon, Peru and Bolivia tour, and the Nazca lines, through you?

Also, is the price of the accommodation on top of the tour price? I thought accommodation was included?

    • Peru Trek 4 GoodOperatorWritten January 2026

Yes, you can book with us all: The Amazon, Peru and Bolivia tour, and the Nazca lines

You have to pay the next extras for the trip changes you are asking:

Day 2 Lima City Tour. Overnight in Lima (extra night)

After the tour of Machupicchu, you can take the next hikes on our own:

      · Climb to Huayna Picchu – ~2 hours round trip (steep and more challenging; limited permits)

      · Climb to Machu Picchu Mountain – ~3 hours round trip (most demanding option; panoramic views)

There are no buses from Uyuni to Calama

You have to take a bus to Atacama, and from there you take another bus or a taxi to Calama

Also we'd prefer a hotel rather than a hostel during the trip, is this possible?

Hi would you be able to arrange car hire for us in San Pedro de Atacama?

    • Peru Trek 4 GoodOperatorWritten December 2025

On the last day of the Uyuni tour (Day 12), from the Bolivia–Chile border, you can take a bus to San Pedro de Atacama (approximately 1.5–2 hours). From San Pedro, you then take another bus to Calama (about 2 hours).
This way, you do not need to return to Uyuni, spend the night there, and then travel to Calama the following day—saving both time and money.
Just to confirm, are you requesting an upgrade of the hotels for the entire trip, or only for certain destinations?

In regards to the hotels and upgrades, we are really only looking at those that are don't offer the following - to have our own bathroom and bedroom.

    • Peru Trek 4 GoodOperatorWritten December 2025

In this trip, you always have private rooms and bathrooms

Hotels include: Lima: Tierra Viva Larco or similar, Cusco: Tierra Viva Saphy, Centro, or similar, Machu Picchu: Golden Sunrise or similar, Puno: Tierra Viva, Royal Inn, or similar, Copacabana: Rosario or similar

    • Peru Trek 4 GoodOperatorWritten June 2025

To visit Machupicchu you take a train to aguas Calientes and from there a bus to Machupicchu

    • Peru Trek 4 GoodOperatorWritten June 2025

Yes you need a visa for Bolivia if you are US citizens. The price is about: US$160 per person

    • Peru Trek 4 GoodOperatorWritten June 2025

The hikes are not difficult, you just have to be well adapted to the altitude and you have the option to rent horses. The hike to the Rainbow mountain is about 2 – 2½ hours uphill and 1 hour downhill. About 5 miles total
