  Ill be 42 years old this month. Can I join the 19-39 age group? If not, what groups are available?

    This tour is a part of our 18-30somethings travel style, which is only available for travellers between the ages of 18 - 39 to book onto. Our other travel styles, such as Classic, Active, National Geographic Journeys, etc., do not have any age restrictions.

  Are the optional excursions available and do I need to book them ahead of time? I'm interested in all the excursions offered in Paris, plus the paragliding, ropes course, white water rafting, glacier exploration, and all the excursions in Rome. Some excursions don't have prices listed - how much do the unlisted activities cost? If there are additional excursions I'm interested in, is there a way to book them beforehand or while on the tour?

    All additional activities for this tour are only booked and paid for whilst travelling. The Tour Guide will help you on tour to book these activities in the location where they will be available to do. The activities that do not have a cost to them are activities that we are unable to advise on costing ahead of time due to the suppliers of the activities having flexible costings.

    Am I able to see all the excursions I want to which is basically all of them within the time frame for each country and will the guide be there for all of them since it's fully guided?

    I saw that for some of the tours, they have options for either you can do this activity and or this one and I want to do almost all of them and I know we have limited time in each place so I just wanna make sure.

    It is highly unlikely that you will be able to do all optional activities in each destination due ti limited time. Selecting one is more probable. The tour lead will not be part of optional activities because are offered by 3rd party suppliers. It is mandatory to get travel insurance prior to departure.

    If the tour guides are not doing any activities with us during the tour, what are they doing while we're there. They won't be able to drop us off and pick us up from the locations so would that mean we would have to find transportation to and from and come back to the hotel at the end of the day?

    That is correct - for optional activities you need to arrange transport there and back from it. As it is essentially a free day, travellers and the leader can enjoy it independently. The tour leader can always assist you with arranging local transport tif they know a trusted operator

    This tour is for 18-to-30 somethings tours and you have to be between the ages of 18 to 39. Your daughter would have to turn 18 before the start of the tour in order to be eligible to go on the tour

    Arrival would be into Charles de Gaulle Airport in Paris, and departure would be from Rome Fiumicino Airport in Rome.
    
    If there are any optional activities listed on the tour page, these would be at an additional cost and can be paid locally. There would also be additional charges if you choose to add pre- or post-tour accommodation.
    
    If the trip you are interested in is listed as "on request," it typically takes 2–3 working days to receive confirmation on whether it has been confirmed or not.
    
    Additionally, Wi-Fi is generally available at the hostels throughout the tour.

    Depending on which nationality passport you travel on, you may need a visa for entry
    
    If you are looking to travel on one of our trips in April, they will be on request. It can take up to 5 business for us to get an answer back from our local office & there is no guarantee it can be confirmed
    
    Once the request process begins, the cancelation policy for Tour Radar bookings is below
    
    From 29th day to 3rd day prior to departure: 70% of travel fare becomes non-refundable: 50% cancellation fee + 20% Lifetime deposit
    
    From 2nd day prior to departure up to departure day or in case of no show : 95% of travel fare becomes non-refundable: 75% cancellation fee + 20% Lifetime Deposit

  I am 56 and my daughter is 16 I think a week is a good amount of time but it looks like the age range is lower, will I be ok in that group? Will you have that tour Aug 3? I want to see Eiffel Tower & parts of Rome, with Swiss alps views on the train.

    This tour is specifically for ages between 18-39 so neither of you qualify. Unfortunately, we don't have an alternate in a different travel style that covers your requirements.

  Can we select all female rooms in each hostel or are the sleeping rooms mixed sex? Is it possible to upgrade to a 2 person private room? Is is possible to secure private bath or all they all shared bath?

    All accommodation on this tour will be multi-share. This may involve 4-6 group members sharing and even (on rare occasions) dormitory-style rooms for the whole group. The majority of accommodation will have shared bathroom facilities. The rooms will be separated by gender. There are no options to upgrade on this tour, it is an 18-39s where the majority of the accommodation is in hostels with shared facilities.

    For this tour you will have a picnic by the Eiffel tower in the afternoon, then there is the option to go into the Eiffel tower, which you can do so at the operating times. You can take a walk with some of your fellow travellers to view the tower at night.

    It is mandatory to have Emergency Medical Travel Insurance that covers not only medical expenses but also includes emergency evacuation and repatriation benefits totalling at least USD 200,000. We recommend an all-inclusive policy that covers cancellation and interruption.
