Vienna
You'll arrive in Vienna with flights landing by 3:30 pm, giving you time to get to the port and board your suite ship by 5 pm. Before heading onboard, there's traditional holiday fare and hot drinks available, so grab something warm to start your trip.

Vienna
This morning you'll take a guided city tour covering Vienna's imperial landmarks like the Imperial Palace, Vienna Opera House, and St. Stephen's Cathedral. Afterward you have free time to wander through the Christkindlesmarkt or sit down at a traditional Viennese café. If you're interested, there's an optional guided tour of Schönbrunn Palace and an optional royal waltz concert available this evening.

Grein
You'll start with a guided tour of Melk's Benedictine Abbey, where you can see its frescoed ceilings up close. Back onboard the ship, there's an Austrian cookie tasting while you sail toward Grein. Later you'll take a guided walk through town to see its historic theater, the oldest in Austria that still hosts regular performances, followed by live entertainment onboard tonight.

Passau
A guided city walk takes you through Passau, known as the City of Three Rivers, and then you'll have free time to check out the charming Christkindlmarkt near St. Stephen's Cathedral. If you're interested, there's an optional guided excursion to Salzburg where you can see The Sound of Music filming locations and learn about the Silent Night hymn's history.

Regensburg
You'll take a guided walk through Regensburg's Old Town to see the Old Town Hall and Porta Pretoria, the fortress entrance built back in 179 AD. After that, you can browse the Christmas markets sampling hot mulled wine, candied almonds, gingerbread, and bratwurst. This evening there's live entertainment onboard.

Nuremberg
Start the day with a Christmas Traditions Lecture onboard. Then you have two options for your guided tour: either explore Nuremberg's medieval architecture including its gilded fountain, Gothic cathedral, and Kaiserburg Castle, or visit the historic Nuremberg Rally Grounds. Later you'll have free time to walk through the Christmas markets tasting bratwurst varieties, gingerbread, mulled wine, and other Bavarian specialties.
