The price of the newly selected departure date will apply, and any price difference will be adjusted accordingly. Requests to change your departure date must be submitted at least 8 days before your original departure date. If you choose to postpone your tour, the cancellation terms will not reset to a lower level. The terms that apply at the time you postpone will continue to apply. If you're happy to continue your tour on your original departure date, no action is required. We do not provide tours to white desert. We can provide 2 extra nights in Hurghada after your tour ends. We can add it after the tour ends from Dec 4th to Dec 6th and it will cost you 500 USD per person (including The flight from Cairo to Hurghada and from Hurghada to Cairo + your accommodation in Hurghada hotel "all inclusive") Then we can arrange an optional tour on Dec 7th to Old Cairo (costs 95 USD per person). Then you will check out from the hotel on Dec 8th at 10:00 am. The extra nights in Cairo hotel from Dec 6th to Dec 8th will cost you 300 USD.

I had an amazing cruise tour with our guide Asraf and 3 other couples from Luxor to Aswan. Asraf took great care of us making sure our every need was met. But even more importantly, his knowledge about Egyptian history helped me better understand the chronological events through Egypt’s history. Starting from Karnek Temple to the valley of the kings, then to Edfu and finishing in Aswan, he explained in great detail the hieroglyphs on the walls and obelisks and key events for the different pharaoh’s tombs we visited. Visiting the Pyramids of Giza and the Valley of the Kings was a childhood dream of mine fulfilled. Asraf answered all of my ignorant questions and filled in many of the gaps I had in the Egyptian history. He was very friendly, attentive and was always available to assist any of us in the group. I enjoyed the cruise, the food and the views from the boat. If you are coming to Egypt to learn about it’s ancient history to the present day, I would recommend this tour, it is an educational experience.Show more

It is a super packed tour but were in our 20s so it was still managable. The optional tours like the hot air balloon, abu simbel and the nubian village are well worth it! Althought it says it includes 5 stars hotel and cruise I would say its more 3 stars, especially the cruise. Regardless, we had a fun time and the group we were in were very nice people!! Would still recommend this tour to anyone looking for a fun and educational time!Show more

Assuming your home country does not have a visa agreement with the country you're planning to visit, you will need to apply for a visa in advance of your scheduled departure.

Payment information
- For any tour departing before July 14th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after July 14th, 2026, a minimum payment of $100 is required to confirm your booking with Getaways Egypt. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 70 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
- Some departure dates and prices may vary and Getaways Egypt will contact you with any discrepancies before your booking is confirmed.
- The following cards are accepted for "Getaways Egypt" tours: Visa, Maestro, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal. TourRadar does NOT charge you an extra fee for using any of these payment methods.
