Itinerary
- Day 1
Cairo
Your journey starts when you land at Cairo International Airport. From there, you'll be driven to your 4-star hotel in the city center, giving you a chance to settle in and get oriented to Egypt's historic capital. It's a good time to rest up before the real exploring begins tomorrow.

- Day 2
Cairo
This morning you head out to Saqqara Necropolis to see the Step Pyramid of Djoser and the Pyramid of Teti. Around midday you'll grab lunch at a local restaurant, then continue southwest to Dahshur Necropolis where the Bent Pyramid and Red Pyramid wait for you. You'll head back to your hotel after that.

- Day 3
Cairo
Today you're spending time at Giza, walking through the Great Pyramid of Khufu, Pyramid of Chefren, and Pyramid of Mykerinus. The Sphinx and Valley Temple are there too. Later in the afternoon, you'll check out the Grand Egyptian Museum, which has 5,000 years of artifacts and royal treasures from Ancient Egypt.

- Day 4
Cairo to Luxor
An early flight takes you to Luxor this morning, and then you board a 5-star Nile cruise for the next 5 days. You'll spend the day walking through Karnak's Great Hypostyle Hall with its intricate columns, seeing the granite statues of Ramses II and ancient obelisks. Later you head to Luxor Temple, checking out its columns and colossal statues.

- Day 5
Luxor
The West Bank of the Nile is your focus today. You'll explore the Valley of the Kings where 63 tombs and chambers sit carved into the hillside, then see the Colossi of Memnon and the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut. By evening you're sailing toward Edfu with dinner served on board, and you'll sleep on the ship.

- Day 6
Edfu to Kom Ombo
After breakfast, you go ashore for a guided tour of Edfu's Temple of Horus, one of Egypt's best-preserved temples. Back on the cruise you'll have lunch, then later the ship sails to Kom Ombo Temple, which has an unusual setup with two deities honored there - Horus and the Crocodile God Sobek. Tonight there's an Egyptian Night Party with traditional music and Galabeya gowns.

- Day 7
Aswan
You wake up at Aswan where the cruise docks. The morning is spent at Philae Temple on Agilkia Island, which was moved here in the 1960s to save it from the dam flooding. You'll also see the Aswan High Dam, built between 1960 and 1970 for hydroelectric power. If you're interested, there's an optional late afternoon trip to a Nubian Village.

- Day 8
Aswan to Cairo
You disembark from the cruise today. There's an optional early morning tour available to Abu Simbel's Great Temples, where Ramses II and Nefertari's sanctuaries were relocated in 1968 to escape submersion by Lake Nasser. After that you transfer to Aswan International Airport for your internal flight back to Cairo, then check into your hotel.

- Day 9
Alexandria
This morning you travel to Alexandria, the ancient port city founded by Alexander the Great in 331 BC. You'll walk through the Catacombs of Kom El Shoqafa to see the rock-cut tombs with their blend of Egyptian, Greek, and Roman styles. Then you visit Pompey's Pillar and the modern Alexandrina Bibliotheca with its granite facade covered in 120+ scripts. By evening you head back to Cairo.

Cairo Departure
Breakfast at your Cairo hotel ends your trip. After checking out, you're driven to Cairo International Airport where you catch your departure flight home.
