Itinerary
- Day 1
Bordeaux
Your river cruise begins when you board the Scenic Diamond in Bordeaux. After settling into your suite and meeting the crew, you'll have time to explore the city itself. The waterfront has nice architecture, and there's plenty of opportunity to try local coffee and wine from the vineyards in the surrounding region. This evening you'll get oriented to the ship and meet fellow passengers.

- Day 2
Saint-Émilion
This morning starts with a relaxing cruise on the Dordogne River toward Libourne, a 13th-century port town. You can hang out on the Sun Deck or sign up for an optional French cooking class while the ship moves. Later in the afternoon, head out to Saint-Émilion, a medieval village and World Heritage site known for its wineries and historic buildings. A guided tour takes you through the caves and catacombs below the city, including the Monolithic church with its 38-metre bell tower carved from limestone.

- Day 3
Libourne to Fort Medoc
Pick one of five Scenic Freechoice activities for the morning: walk through historic Libourne, taste wines at Château Siaurac or Château Fleur Cardinale, do a bike and wine experience at Château Siaurac, or join a Paint and Pour art class on deck with local wines. From there, the ship sails toward Fort Medoc, where you'll spend the night.

Tonight you'll attend an exclusive Scenic Enrich experience: a classical concert at the 13th-century Château d'Agassac. You'll walk through the château and gardens before a string quartet performs, then head back to the ship.

Cadillac
The ship cruises toward Cadillac this morning, a fortified city from the 13th century built around its château. You'll learn how explorer Anthony Laumet's establishment of Fort Pontchartrain du Détroit led to the city's name and connection to the Cadillac automobile brand. After exploring, return to the ship for the afternoon and evening.

Cadillac
This is another Scenic Freechoice day in the Cadillac region. In the morning, explore the Sauternes wine area by coach visiting Château Rayne Vigneau or Château De Malle, or bike through vineyards to Château Mayne la Merci for a tasting. The afternoon gives you three options: tour Roquetaillade Castle with its 13th-century architecture, cycle through the Loupiac wine region with views of Château Benauge, or visit Château Toulouse-Lautrec, home to French artist Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec.

Back on board, there's an oyster tasting from Arcachon Bay. Tonight you'll visit Les Bassins de Lumières, the former submarine base transformed into digital art, with after-hours access, champagne, and an exclusive show.

After that, you'll have free time on board as the ship sails toward Bourg during the afternoon.

Bourg
The ship docks in Bourg, a town on a rocky promontory with old alleyways, moats and bell towers overlooking the Dordogne. Pick between two Scenic Freechoice activities: tour Bourg Castle's Carriages Museum to see horse-drawn carriages and a 16th-century guard passage, or take a full day trip to Cognac. The Cognac option includes a walking tour of the fortified city, free exploration time, lunch at a local restaurant, and a guided tour of the Rémy Martin estate with cognac tasting.

Blaye
The ship sails toward Blaye this morning, a small hamlet with a World Heritage-listed citadel built to protect Bordeaux. Choose from four Scenic Freechoice activities: a leisurely walk through Blaye overlooking the Gironde Estuary, an active walking tour of the citadel's defence system designed by architect Sébastien Vauban, a guided bike tour along the scenic Captain's Road, or a visit to 15th-century Château La Roche Courbon on a high cliff with manicured gardens. Then you sail back to Bordeaux this afternoon for your final evening on the ship.
