In this regard, the advance planning was very good. However, our experience changed once we arrived in Namibia. The guide waiting for us at the airport didn’t speak Spanish, and we also realized during the trip that he wasn’t very familiar with some of the places on the itinerary. On a few occasions, we even got lost along the way. The guide was always friendly, and we eventually made it to all our destinations, but the tour ended up being conducted in English, and we felt like we weren’t receiving the service we’d paid for—which included Spanish-language support. We spoke with the guide about this situation, and he gave us some explanations that we didn’t find convincing. We continued with the trip because, once we were there, we didn’t have a real alternative, and we didn’t want this situation to ruin our trip. We loved Namibia and the itinerary was very good, but we’re left with a sense of disappointment and, above all, that we were misled regarding the service we paid for. If a private tour with a Spanish-speaking guide is offered—for which you pay an extra €400—we believe it’s important to ensure that the guide actually speaks Spanish and is thoroughly familiar with the route and the sites included.Show more

Payment information
- For any tour departing before November 21st, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after November 21st, 2026, a minimum payment of 20% is required to confirm your booking with Motema Tours and Safaris. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 65 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
- Some departure dates and prices may vary and Motema Tours and Safaris will contact you with any discrepancies before your booking is confirmed.
