Itinerary
- Day 1
Leh
You'll arrive at Leh airport where a GTIndia Tours representative will be waiting for your transfer to the hotel. Spend the rest of the day letting your body adjust to Ladakh's high altitude and cool mountain climate. It's important to take it easy on your first day and get some rest since you're at about 11,500 feet above sea level.

- Day 2
Leh to Alchi
After breakfast, head out to Alchi and visit the ancient Alchi Monastery with its 1000-year-old paintings. You'll stop at Likir Monastery to see the Maitreya Buddha statue, then check out Sangam where the Indus and Zanskar rivers meet. From there, wander through Magnetic Hill and the Military Hall of Fame before driving to Alchi for your overnight stay.

- Day 3
Alchi to Leh
Have breakfast and enjoy the day to yourself. Later on, check out from your hotel and make the drive back to Leh, settling into your hotel for the night. The journey takes a few hours, so you'll have some downtime to rest or walk around once you arrive.

Leh to Nubra Valley
After breakfast, you'll head toward Nubra Valley, crossing over Khardung La pass at 18,380 feet/5,600 meters, one of the world's highest motorable roads. Once you reach your camp, explore the area around Diskit Monastery and Hunder. Later, ride double-humped camels across the white sand dunes, a unique experience since these camels are only found in Nubra Valley.

Nubra Valley to Leh
Following breakfast, drive back toward Leh and check into your hotel. By evening, you'll have free time to walk through Leh's bazaars for last-minute shopping. You can pick up pure Pashmina shawls, pearls, Ladakhi wooden handicrafts, and various other local items before your trip ends.

- Day 6
Leh to Pangong Lake
Early in the morning after breakfast, head out on a day trip to Pangong Lake, located about 100 miles east of Leh. You'll cross Changla Pass at 17,500 feet/5,330 meters and drive through Durbuk and Tangtse villages. The lake sits at 14,270 feet/4,350 meters and shifts through different shades of blue and green throughout the day depending on light and mineral content.

Leh Departure
Have breakfast at your hotel, then check out and head to Leh airport for your flight home. The transfer to the airport takes about 30 to 45 minutes depending on traffic, so plan to leave with enough time before your departure.
