If you have a tour that suits me: single, experienced traveller, 59, don't mind sharing rooms - some privacy would be nice, want guide and driver, want it local and cultural, have knee problems, too long and steep walks not possible, unfortunately 2 h/day maybe 3 with breaks is fine, could arrive mid October, heard it is the wrong time to to Lakh and leh - it will be minus degrees and frost and snow???

Also will try not to take you for the hike point, and make your trip with leisure and less walking and you can enjoy the tour. Also we can give you the same price for the tour which is USD 2,695/-. A good trip that covered many areas of southern India. From the coastal areas to the mountains, we saw something of everything. All hotels up to standard, although the food availability at the hotel in Thekkady was not good due to the gas shortages as a result of the war. The dining room was very dark and the wait staff not particularly interested. Probably the worst meal of our entire 5 week trip. Swimming pool at this hotel was also not very good and needed a good clean. The beds in all the hotels were very good and the rooms were comfortable though some did not have fridges. The guides were good, though some places we did not have a guide and the driver's English was limited. The boat trip at Alleppey was particularly good especially since it was a cruise for just the two of us. Did not go on the safari in Perriyar as it was very expensive given the small number of tigers in such a large area. No water provided. Didn't see any of the view at Dolphin Point due to the early morning fog.Show more

As per usual there were suggested shopping stops. I would encourage everyone to understand the costs of monuments and museums. Some are very pricey. The hotels were fine. All were clean but nothing fancy. These cities are perfect for first time India visitors. My family was very satisfied, and excited next time to see more.Show more

The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 110 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
