Each departure is different, and we don't have that information in advance. Yes, it is absolutely possible to book a private single room. For the departure on 4 February 2027, the price for 1 traveler in a private single room is USD 3,002.00. You can book this option through TourRadar.

Can we extend the tour until February 13, 2027? We need a quotation for post accommodations and optional tours.

Unfortunately, our local supplier is not offering pre- or post-tour accommodation for this departure at the moment. If your travelers would like to arrange their own accommodation, the hotel currently planned for the tour is Casanova Hotel or a similar hotel of the same standard. The hotel will only be finalized closer to the departure date and is therefore subject to change. If the travelers are interested in any optional tours during their extended stay, please let us know which dates they are considering, and we'll be happy to check the available options.

Is it possible to start the tour on a different date?

This group departure operates on fixed dates, starting on February 4th, 2027, and the itinerary cannot be customized or started on a different date. The special finale on February 9th is part of the full program and is not available as a standalone option within this package. If you are not interested in the Carnival program, we do have another option that could work well for your dates: the Rio de Janeiro Welcome Package (4D/3N), which is flexible and can start on February 9th.

For the Rio carnival tour, how much is the price for a single room and how do we reserve for a single room? I don't see an option here on tour radar. Also, I noticed that someone had asked the same question and the price quoted was 2779 USD, but I'm seeing the price is 2200 CAD here on Tour Radar. How was it that a single room is almost doubled the price of the entire tour?

One of my friends can only join the tour in 13/14th Feb due to work as she is a teacher. Could she get a discount on the trip?

Is it possible to join the tour a bit later on the first day?

You might miss the first activities, but can easily join a little later.

Is seating at the Rio Carnival reserved by seat number? I'd prefer not to have to fight for a spot or arrive hours early just to get a seat.

Your experienced local guide will take you to all the best street parties around the city, where dancing and joining the crowd is part of the fun. At the Sambadrome, all regular sectors (2 to 11) are general admission, meaning there are no assigned seats. If you would prefer an assigned seat, we can arrange this at extra cost, but keep in mind that the rest of your group and tour leader will be in a different part.
