Itinerary
- Day 1
Athens
You'll arrive at Athens Airport or Piraeus Port and get transferred to your hotel for check-in. The afternoon is open, so you can explore the city however you like. Syntagma Square gives you a good sense of the city's energy, or you might wander through Plaka's narrow streets if you want something more low-key. The Kolonaki neighborhood has some nice boutique shops, and Ermou Street is the main commercial strip if you're in the mood to browse. Attica department store is another option if you want to see what locals are buying.

- Day 2
Athens
After breakfast, you'll join a guided tour covering Athens' main historical sites. The route takes you to the Panathenaic Stadium first, then past the Prime Minister's residence and the Temple of Olympian Zeus. From there you'll see Hadrian's Arch, the Parliament building, and Constitution Square. The second half focuses on the Acropolis, where you'll walk through the Propylaea, visit the Temple of Athena Nike and the Erechtheion, and see the Parthenon up close. You'll finish at the Acropolis Museum before heading back to your hotel.

Athens
You have the full day after breakfast to do whatever suits you. If you want structure, there's an optional food tour running from 9:30 am that lasts about 4 hours. This tour walks through neighborhoods like Psyrri and stops at Varvakios market, where you'll try Greek coffee, sesame pastries, spanakopita, and other local specialties like cheeses, cured meats, and mezze paired with tsipouro. If you'd rather keep it relaxed, just spend time walking around the city center and head back to your hotel on your own schedule.

Athens
After breakfast, you can explore the city like a local or book an optional tour. If you go the independent route, the Sunday flea market at Platia Avissinias in Monastiraki is worth checking out, with vintage furniture and handmade goods. You could grab Greek coffee at a neighborhood café or try traditional kebab and souvlaki at a tavern. If you'd rather have a guide, there's a Cape Sounio half-day tour that takes you south to the Temple of Poseidon at the tip of Attica.
