A representative will meet you at Quito airport and drive you to your hotel. The rest of the day is yours to wander around the city and get your bearings.

Quito to San Cristobal
After breakfast, you'll head to the airport for a domestic flight to San Cristobal (you'll need to book this separately). Once you land, a representative picks you up and takes you to your hotel, where they'll fill you in on what's coming next. Later, you can walk on your own to the Interpretation Center and check out Tijeretas Hill.

You have a full free day on Santa Cruz. The Charles Darwin Station is worth visiting if you want a guided tour (there's an extra charge for that). If you're looking for more structured activities, optional diving tours, boat tours, or day trips to the highlands can be arranged.

Our holiday was great. We experienced so many wonderful animals, food and people. The accommodation was okay. The casa de Nelly was incredible as was the red booby hotel but the blue house was loud, smelled an awful lot like sewage, was uncomfortable and overall, unprepared. Our drivers were knowledgeable but often late picking us up. We did enjoy the freedom to roam and explore untied to a group.

Payment information
- For any tour departing before March 6th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after March 6th, 2026, a minimum payment of 10% is required to confirm your booking with Bamba Travel. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 90 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
