Excellent tour of all the UNESCO sites on my list. Our knowledgeable and upbeat guide, Sal, made the tour most enjoyable. Hotels varied from chain to old colonial to rustic resort which made the trip interesting. This trip involved some long stretches on the road but with a comfortable SUV and a safe and competent driver this was not an issue. Breaking up the trip with visiting the monarch butterflies and some relaxation at thermal pools was beneficial.Show more

The UNESCO Heritage Sites tour was educational, eye opening and fun! The opportunity to learn about the history of Mexico from many hundreds of years of incredible civilizations is truly the way we should all learn. The ancient civilizations had so many skills with architecture and using what was available to create their cities. The art they created was also very interesting to see, and I am thankful that we got to see some original art. Fábio has vast knowledge of the history and such a zest for life that I am looking to research and read more about Mexico history. Comparing and contrasting the different styles of architecture with churches and different cultures was also eye opening. The cities at night were a pleasure to walk around in with all the Christmas lights and figures, many handcrafted, and festivities that were happening. Eating in the markets, and some of the restaurants that we had the opportunity to enjoy with very traditional foods, were a treat. I wish I could eat like that all of the time! Jorge our driver, is very skilled, and also kept us safe, with his very patient personality in getting us to all the places we had the opportunity to visit. The history of Mexico brought to life, incredible street food and the love for this country all brought together by Fabio. The most fun trip ever. All of us were made to feel like very special tourists. I really enjoyed the art aspect, especially the murals and their stories. Being a potter myself, I was shown many designs that I can incorporate into future art pieces. Both Fabio and Jorge deserve large bonuses and full support during tours. We were thrilled to try different foods from several regions in the local markets. Fabio has an extensive knowledge of indigenous foods. The opportunity to visit and explore a large number of UNESCO sites and learn of their significance to the history of Mexico and the world was fascinating. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 60 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
