Scuba diving in the Philippines would be amazing! And yes, while not part of the tour there is some time built in for those who would like to in Moalboal or Boracay. We offer a single supplement or "My Own Room" option. Are you a certified Travel Agency? We would need to get you setup as such in our system so that you are able to sell our tours directly.

We are both healthy active travelers. Why is there an age restriction?

Our trips have an age guideline (typically 18–40), and for this particular tour it's something we stick to quite firmly. The Island Hopper is a very social, fast-paced experience with a big focus on group dynamics, so keeping everyone within a similar age range helps make sure the vibe is right for the whole group. Because of that, we wouldn't be able to offer spots on this tour outside of that age range.

I'm 45 but very fit, can I still be included in this tour which is up to age 39?

As a Classic tour yes, you are certainly able to join this tour at 45! That is the maximum age allowed on the Classic tour.

just wondering about the age limit for this tour, we are in our 50's but very active and young at heart. We are looking for a Phillipines tour that encompases our interests and this looks great, but we don't want to annoy any younger people who are expecting all younger people for their holiday. Could you advise of if this is possible for us or if you can suggest an 'any age' tour that is similar in length and itinerary.

Why is there a age restriction for your tours, the Phillipines Island hopping tour?

We're a youth operator, so our tours are tailored towards people aged 18-39 years old with an exception of up to 45 years old.

The 17 day Philippines Island Hopper tour was fantastic. The itinerary was absolutely perfect, we covered a lot of area and did many amazing activities, while also still getting the perfect amount of free time. AJ Pon, my guide, was absolutely amazing. He was kind, positive, fun, as well as extremely organized, timely, knowledgeable. The entire trip went off without a hitch- everything was so smooth and timely. Aj went above and beyond to make sure everyone in the group felt taken care of and supported. He also shared lots of knowledge and history about the Philippines, and was happy to answer any questions we had about the Philippines or anything at all. When we had free time, he would send recommendations on restaurants and fun things to do in the area, and if anyone wanted to do an activity outside of the itinerary, he would be so kind as to arrange transport, tickets, etc. Aj took the leg work out of everything- we didn’t have to think about a thing. Aj was a wonderful tour guide and significantly enhanced my experience - he was such a delight to be around, was so kind and positive, and we knew he was always there for us if we needed anything at all.Show more

Generally overall my tour was amazing and i literally put it down to our tour guide AJ. You can genuinely tell he loves his job. From the way he presents himself, the knowledge he knows and just how on time, precise and fun everything was from start to finish. The fact that tru travel give back to the environment in any way they possibly can. Showing us the way locals do things not just the tourist sights.   Classic is just the trip style name we give to the majority of our tours. All of ours tours have a maximum age of 45 besides our "Backpacker" tours, which have an age limit of 29 years old. This is because they stay in hostels primiarly.
  
  However, this Philippines Island Hopper tour is one of our classic tours, and therefore can be booked by anyone up to the age of 45 years old.

For tours departing after August 17th, 2026, a minimum payment of $280 is required to confirm your booking with TruTravels. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 65 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
