Why is there a age restriction for your tours, the Phillipines Island hopping tour?

We're a youth operator, so our tours are tailored towards people aged 18-39 years old with an exception of up to 45 years old.

Can I please ask how many people will be going in this trip? I know it's last minute but I am very interested, is there spaces still available?

Unfortunately, our February 4th departure is now fully booked. I'm sorry for the disappointing news! Would you like me to check the next available dates for you?

Would like to do this trip with my friends, what is the longer tour?

We do have Total Philippines with 24 Days. The closest available departure will be on 19th of November 2026. The 17 Day Island Hopper, depart on the 27th of November.

Could you please let us know if you allow any age-range exceptions? Additionally, we'd appreciate it if you could share the maximum age you allow for your tours.

We have a maximum age of 45 years old on our tours, including this one.

are there any restrictions on participating in your tour with a walking disability? To that how much walking is foreseen in the tour?

There will be a fair amount of walking required on tour. Starting from airports, there will be a lot of walking but we can always ask for a wheelchair and disability priority. Island hopping you will be required to walk in and out the boat, but while in the islands you can stay in the boat or we can have someone to carry you in and out the boat. Going around places restaurants and point to point will require walking. There will also be major walking required alongside jumping and swimming at Moalboal during the canyoneering activity. Activities are not really mandatory for them to join, but they will missed out on what they really paid for. It may help us to understand what type of walking disability it is so we could prepare our Tour Leader, if you do decide to book on.

I was considering booking this tour from 12/1-12/17 and I'm not quite sure how I feel about experiencing something like this completely by myself. When I came to the confirmation page, it stated there are 10+ spots left for these dates. Are you able to tell me about how many people might be in this group for these dates?

There is currently six other guests booked on. Although we suspect this will increase as we tend to get a fair few last minute bookings.

how much for single accoimdation for the entier trip

Is there opportunity to scuba dive on this tour. Also are activities included in the price?

Generally there will not be an opportunity to scuba dive as the activities take up most of your day, however I will speak with our on the ground operations team and let you know asap. Yes, all the activities are included in the price.

Can I attend this tour over 50 years old? Please let me know.

Unfortunately, we are unable to book those over the age of 45 onto our tours, due to our Upper Age Limit in place. This age restriction has been introduced based on: the nature of our tours themselves, the average age of those that typically book on, and the previous feedback that we have received. On average, the age of those that book on are between 18 - 35 years old. The tours are also of a more backpacker, basic style, which is most attractive solo travellers between the ages mentioned above.

Can you tell me if there is still 2 spots left on this date? Can you also tell me the average age of the people who already signed up?

The itinerary was absolutely perfect, we covered a lot of area and did many amazing activities, while also still getting the perfect amount of free time. AJ Pon, my guide, was absolutely amazing. He was kind, positive, fun, as well as extremely organized, timely, knowledgeable. The entire trip went off without a hitch- everything was so smooth and timely. Aj went above and beyond to make sure everyone in the group felt taken care of and supported. He also shared lots of knowledge and history about the Philippines, and was happy to answer any questions we had about the Philippines or anything at all. When we had free time, he would send recommendations on restaurants and fun things to do in the area, and if anyone wanted to do an activity outside of the itinerary, he would be so kind as to arrange transport, tickets, etc. Aj took the leg work out of everything- we didn’t have to think about a thing. Aj was a wonderful tour guide and significantly enhanced my experience - he was such a delight to be around, was so kind and positive, and we knew he was always there for us if we needed anything at all.Show more

He was the best tour leader I’ve ever had—absolutely fantastic—and thanks to him, I had one of the best trips of my life, one I’ll remember forever. The itinerary was perfectly balanced, with a great mix of adventure and downtime. AJ was incredibly organised and always made sure we had all the information we needed, along with great recommendations during our free time.   I walk with a stick and my speed is reduced so don't really want to end up in a hiking tour. Generally speaking airport transfer, island hopping and going around places on a short distance is fine. I struggle on uneven ground and won't join canyoneering with cliff jumps, but I'm all good with water activities like swimming and kayaking, as well as zip line if not to heavy hike are involved. I usually tend to use a bicycle (electric), car, motorbike for transfers where possible to avoid longer walks. Given the above mentioned information let me know your thoughts. I would be traveling solo - what is the price and would I be in a single room?

  I'm sure it will be fine, but a flight coming into Manila the morning of 12/1 around 9am will be ok right? Assuming little to no delays.

  That will be fine. The main activities on the first day of the trip involve around a group dinner in the evening and an opportunity to really get to know each other. They'll also be a chance to explore the town in the evening. Other travellers will all arrive at various times throughout the day and since you'll all be in a Whatsapp group together, people tend to start meeting up during the day before the main events with the Tour Leader begin later on in the afternoon / evening.

Visa
- Unfortunately we cannot offer you a visa application service. Whether you need a visa or not depends on your nationality and where you wish to travel. Assuming your home country does not have a visa agreement with the country you're planning to visit, you will need to apply for a visa in advance of your scheduled departure.
- Here is an indication for which countries you might need a visa. Please contact the local embassy for help applying for visas to these places.
Payment information
- For any tour departing before May 19th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after May 19th, 2026, a minimum payment of $280 is required to confirm your booking with TruTravels. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 65 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
- Some departure dates and prices may vary and TruTravels will contact you with any discrepancies before your booking is confirmed.
- The following cards are accepted for "TruTravels" tours: Visa, Maestro, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal. TourRadar does NOT charge you an extra fee for using any of these payment methods.
Cancellation Policy
- Your money is safe with TourRadar, as we only pay the tour operator after your tour has departed.
