The tour was quite informative. We learned a lot about the culture and history of Colombia. There were also some very interesting and fun excursions to the countryside. All the guides, with one exception, were very experienced and knowledgeable. Most of the hotels were basic, some with very small rooms and one with no hot water. The food was quite good although our inability to speak Spanish made some interactions with locals difficult at times. I felt like this was a country that was just starting to learn the intricacies of hosting tourists. I would recommend this tour for the curious traveller with a fondness for adventure and learning.Show more

El Salvador is a beautiful and very interesting country. We are so glad to have had so many wonderful experiences there. Our proposed itinerary was great, but due to an unexpected mess up, we had to alter plans it a bit. Fortunately, our guide rescued the situation and we still saw the major highlights of the tour and possibly a few more! The hike to the summit of Santa Ana was spectacular (video include) as was our indigo dying experience (video). And nothing can beat the gorgeous sunsets El Tunco!Show more

Payment information
- For any tour departing before June 17th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after June 17th, 2026, a minimum payment of 20% is required to confirm your booking with Agate Travel. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 65 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
