Istanbul
You'll arrive in Istanbul and get picked up at the airport for your transfer to the hotel. After checking in, you'll have time to rest and settle before your Turkish adventure kicks off.

Istanbul
Start your morning exploring Istanbul's old city, beginning with Hagia Sophia and its religious elements. From there, you'll head to the Hippodrome of Constantinople to see the Serpent Column, then move on to the Blue Mosque. After lunch, tour Topkapi Palace (or the Basilica Cistern if the palace is closed) and spend time browsing the Grand Bazaar with its 4,000-plus shops before heading back to your hotel by evening.

- Day 3
Istanbul to Canakkale
Early this morning, you'll drive about 4.5 hours to the Gallipoli Peninsula to explore its historical sites from the Gallipoli Campaign. You'll visit the Historical National Park, including the Kabatepe War Museum, Anzac Cove, Chunuk Bair Memorial, Lone Pine Memorial, and the Canakkale Martyrs Monument. Later, you'll drive roughly 1 hour to Canakkale and settle into your hotel.

Canakkale to Kusadasi
You'll start by driving about 1 hour to Troy Ancient City, where you'll walk through nine sections discovering artifacts from different eras, including the famous Trojan Horse. Then it's roughly a 3-hour drive to Pergamon Ancient City to see ancient Greek civilization dating back 2,000 years. Finally, after about 2.5 hours of driving, you'll reach Kusadasi and check into your hotel.

- Day 5
Kusadasi
This morning you'll explore Ephesus Ancient City, walking through Curetes Street, seeing the Celsus Library, Great Theater, Baths of Varius, and the Hercules Gate with its Goddess of Victory carving. In the afternoon, head to the Temple of Artemis, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, then visit the Ephesus Archeological Museum to see the world's oldest and best-preserved Artemis statue. Before returning to your hotel, you'll stop at the House of the Virgin Mary.

After breakfast, you'll have a slower pace today. Spend your morning wandering the coastline, chatting with local fishermen, or sitting in a café. Later in the afternoon, you'll drive 2.5 hours to Pamukkale and check into your hotel, which has both indoor and outdoor pools.

Pamukkale to Antalya
Following breakfast, you'll visit Pamukkale to see the distinctive white terraces formed by flowing spring water and relax in the warm travertine pools. Then you'll explore Hierapolis Ancient City perched on top, making sure to check out the Cleopatra Antique Pool. In the afternoon, you'll drive 3.5 hours to Antalya, arriving by dusk. After checking in, take an evening walk through the old town's narrow alleys to feel the sea breeze.

Back in Antalya's old city, you'll visit Hadrian's Gate and explore historic spots like the Clock Tower, Broken Minaret Mosque, and Hidirlik Tower. Your evening ends at the Kaleici Marina, near your hotel.

Then head to Avanos, a small pottery town on the Kizilirmak River famous for its red clay pottery. You'll visit Pasabag Valley to see fairy chimneys of various sizes, then Devrent Valley where rocks resemble different animals. End your day at Love Valley for sunset views before heading to your cave hotel.

Today you'll take a day trip to Southern Cappadocia, starting at Cavusin Village to explore the Great Basilica and St. John the Baptist Chapel. Then enjoy a 2-hour hike in Red Valley to see spectacular columns of red volcanic rocks. You'll visit Uchisar Castle, carved from a 60-meter-high rock, then head to Pigeon Valley, named for the pigeon nests carved into rocks. End at Kaymakli Underground City with its connected floors and vertical shafts before returning to your hotel.

After breakfast, you'll drive approximately 4.5 hours to Ankara with a stop at Lake Tuz to photograph the surreal 'mirror of the sky' reflection in the shallow water. Upon arrival, visit the Museum of Anatolian Civilizations, which won the 1997 European Museum of the Year award. Then explore Anitkabir, Ataturk's Mausoleum built to honor the founder of modern Turkey, where you'll see artifacts and paintings depicting his life in a solemn setting.
