Itinerary
- Day 1
Cape Town to Cape Agulhas
You'll get picked up early from Cape Town and head straight into action. Choose your adventure: either go whale watching by boat to spot Southern Right Whales near Hermanus, or try shark cage diving with Great Whites in Gansbaai. Both options let you get up close with these incredible marine animals. After your morning activity, you'll travel to Cape Agulhas where the Atlantic and Indian Oceans meet. Walk around the southernmost tip of Africa, check out the historic lighthouse, and then settle in for the night.

- Day 2
Cape Agulhas to Oudtshoorn
Today you're driving along the R62 regional road toward Oudtshoorn and you'll make some interesting stops along the way. First up is Ronnie's Sex Shop, a quirky roadside spot where you can grab refreshments and see what makes it so different. From there you'll head to Karusa Wine Estate to do some wine tasting. Later you'll explore the famous Cango Caves near Oudtshoorn and pick your preference: either take the easier Heritage tour or go for something more challenging through the narrow tunnels. After caving, you'll check into your backpackers accommodation for the night.

- Day 3
Oudtshoorn to Knysna
You start with an hour at the Ostrich Safari Showfarm to see these huge birds up close. Then it's on to Wilderness National Park where you'll paddle a canoe down the Touw River, surrounded by indigenous forest on both sides. After paddling, there's a 2km hike that leads to some nice waterfalls and rock pools. If the weather cooperates and you feel like it, you can take a swim in the pools. Later you'll drive to the scenic town of Knysna and stop at the waterfront to take in views of the Knysna Lagoon and the Heads, those massive rock formations at the harbor entrance.

- Day 4
Knysna to Tsitsikamma
You're heading to Bloukrans Bridge where you have two choices: jump off the world's highest bungee jumping bridge if you're feeling brave, or walk across the bridge to get the same thrilling views without the freefall. Either way, the adrenaline is going to be pumping. After that, you'll move on to Tsitsikamma National Park for a 900 meter hike down to a suspension bridge that hangs right over the Storms River Mouth. The views from that bridge are incredible, with the river canyon spreading out below you.

- Day 5
Tsitsikamma to Jeffrey's Bay via Addo National Park
You'll drive about 2.5 hours to Addo National Park, taking in the scenic landscape along the way. Once you're there, you'll spend 3 hours exploring the park in your vehicle looking for wildlife and elephants. Addo is home to over 600 elephants plus lots of other animals. If you want more wildlife viewing, there's an optional 2 hour open 4x4 safari game drive you can add on. By evening you'll head to Jeffrey's Bay where you'll sleep for the night.

Jeffrey's Bay to Cape Town
It's your drive back to Cape Town with scenic stops along the way. You'll stop in Mossel Bay where you can either try skydiving or take a 1 hour walk on the St. Blaize Trail. Lunch at Santos Beach is optional if you're hungry. You should roll back into Cape Town between 18:00 and 19:00 and get dropped at your chosen location. You'll need to sort out your own accommodation for this last night in Cape Town.
