Itinerary
- Day 1
Huaraz
You'll get picked up at the bus station and taken to your hotel to settle in. At 9am, the full-day tour kicks off heading through Callejón de Huaylas. First stop is Carhuaz where you can try the local natural fruit ice creams and check out the San Pedro temple. From there, you'll head through Yungay to see the White Christ monument, then move on to Llanganuco Lagoon in Huascarán National Park where boat or horse rides are available. The day wraps up in Caraz with time to walk around the main square, visit the cathedral, and look through local craft centers before heading back to Huaraz.

- Day 2
Chavín de Huantar
Start with breakfast at your hotel, then depart at 9am heading south through the Valley of Conchucos. You'll pass through several Andean towns and stop at Querococha Lagoon, which sits at the base of snow-capped mountains. After crossing the Cawish tunnel, you can see the Christ of the Andes from there. The route descends into Conchucos Valley where you'll explore the ancient Chavín de Huantar temple complex, walking through its galleries, atriums, and checking out the famous stone carvings. Next comes the modern Chavín National Museum to see ceramics, the Tello Obelisk, and various cultural artifacts before the return trip to Huaraz.

- Day 3
Nevado Pastoruri
Have breakfast at the hotel, then leave at 9am heading south through Callejón de Huaylas. You'll visit the Pumapampa water hole (also called the Fountain of Youth) and explore the unique Puya Raimondi plants that grow in this high-Andean area. After seeing ancient cave paintings, there's about a 45-minute walk up to Nevado Pastoruri at 5,200 meters/17,060 feet where you can touch the snow and see the frozen lagoon. By 5:30 PM you're back in Huaraz and transferred to the bus station.
